Hands-down, my absolute favorite Mexican food in the area. A good friend of ours recommended this place a while back and it took us forever to finally try it, but now that we have, we don't want Mexican from any other place. Lol. Every single thing we have tried off the menu has been fantastic. My husband loves the jalapeño poppers and their guacamole is fresh and so amazingly tasty. And if you do get the guacamole, they load you up with chips and salsa as well. Also very very tasty. I have gone with the Arroze Con Pollo as my entrée every single time and I keep meaning to try something different but it's just so good I end up going right back to it. My husband has tried a variety of dishes from burritos to chicken entrées and he raves about every single meal. If you're in the area I could not give this a higher recommendation. You definitely have to try it if you are in the mood for Mexican.

The best Mexican food around! I've had Mexican food in San Antonio, and this food is as good as the oldest Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. Great service and decor!

I never really write reviews but this place definitely needed one for their birria tacos. This place is way way over hyped. The tacos were so dry they don’t even come with cheese, the shells were not crunchy at all and the dipping sauce tasted like plain oil. then on top of all this I waited almost 15 minutes at the bar to even have someone make me a drink (they were not busy at all and walked by me multiple times) so it’s safe to say if you want some actual birria tacos Guadalajara’s over by Clinton Square is where you want to go. Also the rice and beans were just as dry we all took 2 bites and left it there.

Just a really nice tex mex restaurant. Chile rellenos were fantastic, and I might point out that the refried beans here seem to be more flavorful than other similar establishments. Decor is nice, wait staff friendly, I'd go back happily!

Wanna know what's crazy about a Mexican restaurant in CNY?A: it's crazy how some of you Americans complain about immigrants but here you have a restaurant run ENTIRELY by undocumented Mexicans. Enjoy the food and the pre-made weak sauce margaritas, you hypocrites.

Haven’t had Mexican food in awhile and decided to try Rio out. I tried the steak quesadilla with salad and rice! I was surprised how tasty it was. The rice was fantastic and the small side salad was refreshing. The service was fast and overall a solid spot to try again. The menu has a great variety of items! Jalapeño poppers were on point, full of flavor!

The food was great but the reason for the rating is I had a really long dark brown hair in my food. Was kinda paranoid about it, definitely should wear hair nets in the kitchen…

No beers yet. They are waiting for license. They have signs up advertising beer and I like beers with my ?. Once seated, we felt committed and ordered.

For a Mexican restaurant in central NY, I say this is a decent place to get a margarita and some appetizers. The atmosphere was comfortable even though they were playing Selena the whole time we were there. ? Anyone knowing Selena's music knows it brings out the waterworks.

This is an authentic Mexican restaurant not one of those watered down American prototypes. Amazing food and the friendliest staff. A great atmosphere for the entire family.Kid-friendliness: A fun place for the kids.
