Here today as part of the Sullivan County Dove Geotrail. Cache found as described and in good shape. Thanks for a fun day of touring Sullivan County.
This is a great catskills roadside hotel/inn. The staff are friendly and attentive. They have a tavern on-site with tasty bar food, good ipa's, and a few good tequila options. There is also a pool.
We did a buy out for my husband's 50th birthday. Will and the staff went above and beyond to make this a seamless and perfect weekend. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I spent a few wonderful days, good service
Amazing spot with beautiful views and a relaxed vibe. The food was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was friendly and attentive. Perfect for a date night or a chill evening out.
We can't for a wedding. A while weekend affair. We didn't stay here but all of the activities were here. (others from the wedding party did stay here)
The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was all very tasty. The atmosphere is outdoorsy and rustic
My husband and I had our wedding here this June and the team at The Arnold House was so amazing to work with throughout the process. I truly do not think we would have had as great of a weekend if we had done it anywhere else. Everything felt very personally cared for, they approach everything with a 'yes' attitude, and in general they were so hospitable and communicative that we never felt nervous about their ability to execute the wedding weekend.
As a venue itself there are a myriad of options to choose from for hosting all the different parts of a full wedding weekend, and we never needed to repeat using a location over the course of the 7 different scheduled events (rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, after party, farewell brunch). It was great being able to host the majority of our guests on-site as well, and minimized the amount of coordination we needed to plan in advance for off-site guests, like hotel blocks and transportation.
love this place!! pool is super fun and quiet usually. the vibe of the place is amazing with outstanding menus all around. 5 stars across the board 👌👌👌
We had the most incredible week-long stay at Arnold House! We're a group of artists, and we so enjoyed the beauty and inspiration of the surroundings, the delicious food, and the outstanding hospitality. Will and his team (John, Viry, Phil, Brittany, Francesca, and many more!) were so open to ideas and feedback to make our stay special. Danielle and Emily on the events side got everything set up for us in advance and I always felt we were in good hands. Looking forward to return trips!
We loved ending the day with s’mores by the fire! My partner and I came to the Catskills to explore some local trout towns and attend a concert, the Arnold House was the perfect home base for us in our adventure. The staff was incredibly friendly (looking at you Will, Lori, and John) which added to the comfort and home away from home feeling.

My husband and I LOVEEE it here so so so much. The charm, the staff, EVERYTHING ~ It feels like home, we look forward to coming every year!
Our early stage startup hosted our inaugural company offsite at The Arnold House this past week, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience. From the planning process prior to our arrival, to the service throughout the way, their staff was incredible. I can't recommend this location enough to businesses looking for a productive team retreat. There was great space for productive work sessions, and plenty of activities to mix in fun (hiking, yoga, bonfire, and more), all leading to an overall very successful offsite.
My family and I had a great experience at The Arnold House this Easter long weekend. The decor and overall ambiance was well done and we had fantastic meals at the tavern on site.
I came to the Arnold house with my kids for the Easter egg hunt it was a great experience all of the staff were friendly and my kids made s’mores. Food was amazing!!
John and Will were great with the kids and helped my kids find some eggs!
Five of us went there for dinner a few weeks ago, four of us ordered the Trout Fish and Chips which we thought sounded very interesting. Unfortunately when the waitress brought our food out she told us that they had run out of the Trout and substituted Cod instead. She never came to the table before they cooked the 4 fish dinners to tell us that the Trout wasn’t available they just assumed that it would be okay to do that. We didn’t want to cause a problem so we all said okay. Big mistake, the fish was so salty it was almost uneatable, and the portion was a joke, a single piece of fish and they charged $28.00 for it. We will never go back to this place again, so disappointed.
