Five of us went there for dinner a few weeks ago, four of us ordered the Trout Fish and Chips which we thought sounded very interesting. Unfortunately when the waitress brought our food out she told us that they had run out of the Trout and substituted Cod instead. She never came to the table before they cooked the 4 fish dinners to tell us that the Trout wasn’t available they just assumed that it would be okay to do that. We didn’t want to cause a problem so we all said okay. Big mistake, the fish was so salty it was almost uneatable, and the portion was a joke, a single piece of fish and they charged $28.00 for it. We will never go back to this place again, so disappointed.

The most magical time away, the staff go above and beyond to ensure your time is the best possible. We even visited mid-week when many shops in town were closed, but it didn't matter because the property offers so much. The Tavern meals were some of the best I've ever had from an inn/hotel's kitchen.

This is our 2nd Foster Supply Hospitality property and we've agreed we won't stay anywhere else but their properties in the Catskills. Their hospitality is unmatched and we always leave feeling so refreshed. Thank you Arnold House for a beautiful vacation.

I never write reviews, but the Arnold House truly deserves recognition for how much they made this trip to Catskills NY special. Each host was attentive and provided amazing recommendations on where to eat, drink, hike etc. The rooms were clean and there was plenty of activities to do within the Arnold House itself. In addition, the Arnold House had an amazing location with close proximity to everything. Thank you!

Will hooked us up with an amazing suite and got the fire cracking and cozy for our journey to the 1st snow of the season. Lori tapped me a fresh keg of Guinness, and got Kirstin zinging with a spicy margarita, and the kitchen filled us up with the most delicious victuals this side of the Catskills.

We got snowed in, and all the power this side of Livingston Manor was out. Johnny hooked us up with cowboy coffee and quiche for breakfast, and Will kept the fire in the lodge stoked all day. Perfect! We sat around playing cards and knitting in the beautifully snowdusted surroundings. He offered us a night at a sister hotel in case the power didn’t come back on, which we gladly refused. The power came back on, the bar was hopping, and it was just about the best old-fashioned fun we’ve had in a long time. Wish I could give it 10 stars. Couldn’t recommend it more!

My wife and I had a phenomenal stay at The Arnold House for our mini-moon trip following our wedding. Not wanting to go too far from home, the distance was perfect and the entire location lent itself to exactly what we were seeking. Will, John, Veeri, Jordan, and the entire team were outstanding and provided the extra touches and knowledge that helped us make the most of our stay. We can’t wait to return!

I got married here last weekend and I cannot even think of the words to describe just how amazing it was, not only this past weekend but also throughout the entire planning process and our various visits/stays. When we toured the Arnold House, we fell in love. For a wedding, they have everything figured out. There are multiple locations for each part of the weekend - from welcome dinners to after parties and everything in between. We could not believe how beautiful the outdoor ceremony site was, and also the greenhouse if it was raining or if we just wanted the ceremony there. Emily, the events coordinator, made the planning process seamless and as anxiety free as possible. She is kind, knowledgeable, and organized.

We were so excited to go back for our tasting and the food blew us away. So many creative options and they were all delicious. The chef’s were also extremely accommodating to allergies and restrictions. We stayed there for a few nights and our room was beautiful and clean. We got to walk on the trails on the property, eat at the tavern, and enjoy the relaxing vibe.

When it came to the wedding weekend, my husband and I felt confident that the staff had everything all together and once we arrived, we were able to relax. Our guests were raving about the rooms, the property, and the food throughout the whole weekend. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It feels like we discovered a hidden gem, and we cannot wait to revisit every year!

We got married at the Arnold House on October 5, 2024, and the whole weekend was a dream! The care that the staff took (Emily, Will, John, etc…) was over the top and I felt extremely comfortable knowing they were involved every step of the way. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff provided thoughtful little details. From the venue and rooms to the food, beverage and service for the entire weekend, I can’t recommend this place highly enough as a wedding venue.

Well, we didn’t quite stay at the hotel, but we enjoyed a meal at the Tavern, and it was my favourite meal during all of my vacation. a very helpful server at the nearby Catskill brewery suggested restaurant and we are truly grateful. We went on a Monday night for dinner and it was fully packed. The ambience was warm and cosy. we all got the margarita because it was a five dollar margarita night, and they were extremely delicious. We got the trout dip, which was exceptional. The apple and water crust salad was great as well. The star of the show had to be the dry aged steak which was extremely well cooked and very flavourful. We finished the meal with the apple pie, which again was phenomenal. Overall, it was an excellent meal and I will definitely be back.

I will start by saying that if you're thinking of getting married at the Arnold House, definitely do it. My son got married there this past weekend and everything was literally perfect . The setting is beautiful, and it was so nice to have so many comfortable options for the family and guests to stay on the premises. There were so many varied beautiful choices inside and out on site to have the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, after party and brunch and each was set up and decorated with charm and style. The food was delicious at all the events. But what made all that possible was the exceptional staff. No matter what was asked, they went out of their way to accommodate , always with a warm smile. Everything was done exactly as promised and the results exceeded expectations. What a perfect place to get married!
