Being from Georgia, I'm used to great BBQ...this was exceptional.

Friendly staff, great Cole slaw, great corn bread. Wings are hot and not advertised as such. Ribs went too long past collagen breakdown and lacked a detectable binder or rub of any significance. Again, staff very very nice and a good portion of the food was tasty. The brisket was outright thievery. We called for it and the attendant put us on hold to see if they had enough. A short pause and the answer was yes. We received what looked like pulled pork and nothing like the photos. It was a laughable portion in comparison to the photos, as well. You all should be ashamed of yourselves . We spent 150.00 and even tipped ten dollars. When the bags got opened and I saw what we got and the small portions, I knew we made a mistake. I'm from Long Island and we have a lot of BBQ here. I have also eaten at many famous Austin BBQ joints, taken BBQ road trips across the country and i built my own 180 gallon, twin stack, reverse flow BBQ which I use A LOT! I know a thing or two about BBQ. Small portions, high prices, ribs pulled late and egregious behavior concerning the order of brisket all sums up to a hard pass and mark missed.

Best barbecue place in my opinion! I live 1.5 hours away and this is always a must stop during road trips! The brisket, corn bread, seasoned fries, and BBQ sauce are absolutely the best!! I love the outdoor seating by the water, the large containers of BBQ sauce available on each picnic table, and they are dog friendly.

The pulled pork sandwich was tasty but it needed the barbecue sauce that they provide on the side. The baked beans were good as was the coleslaw but both of them are a little bit on the peppery side. I was fine with it but it was a little too much for my wife and daughter.

It was serendipity that brought me to this place. We were on our way back from Alexandria Bay to Westchester and found ourselves without a service station. We stopped at the rest area a few miles earlier to let our dog out and stretch our legs, but found ourselves a little hungry. Little did we know that taking the next exit would be such a good choice.
The food is great. The service was quick and friendly. The outdoor sitting was just what the doctor ordered for us and the dog. (Don't mind the chickens.)
We both got sandwiches. She got brisket and I got the pork. Both were amazing. The sauce on the table added to the already great flavor.
The food was ready quickly and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The prices won't kill your wallet. I highly enjoyed it. I would have never thought the food was so good at such an unassuming place. Try it if you're in the area.

I have been there twice, briskets are awesome, juicy and delicious! Cornbread and coleslaw are great too! The BBQ sauce is a must try! However ribs are inconsistent, first time was not impressed, second time was not even heated up, kinda cold… Some other reviews liked their ribs. If I go back a third time, should I order ribs or not? ?

By far the absolute WORST bbq I have ever had in my life. I think they are using the wrong wood to smoke with because it tasted like you’re eating actual burnt campfire wood. The char on the outside of the meat made the rest of it completely inedible. And one of the cooks was walking around the parking lot begging people for cocaine. You couldn’t pay me to go back!

Great atmosphere, service was excellent. The food was very delicious, our wings and brisket were cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh and flavorful. And the prices are very reasonable, I would definitely recommend this establishment.
