Had an amazing time doing the wine tour. Learned a lot and everyone was so friendly. Thank you Duncan and James!

They are a family-run business that strives to put quality products before profit. They are a great venue for smaller events with an open-door policy. I highly recommend.

Well, this was an interesting side trip on the way up to Lewiston from Buffalo. Stopped in early for a tasting and found a very pretty building, friendly hosts, nice scenery, and a dog subtly (and not so subtly) begging for s taste of the charcuterie plate. They specialize in dry wines, much to my delight, and they were pretty good! Good variety too, from all manner of standard reds (pilot noir, cab Franc) to dry whites (chardonnay, riesling), with a few local blends and specialities. I'll come back as it's a bit closer to home than our standard Finger Lakes haunts, and is better than many other local wineries.

This place is beautiful - great indoor area for wine tasting and areas for large groups and super cute patio overlooking the vineyard.

The atmosphere in tasting room was relaxed and welcoming. The wines we tasted were complex and delicious. We very much enjoyed the homemade pizza as well. We’re looking forward to our next visit.

Arrowhead Spring Vineyards is a beautiful place. The tasting room is warm and inviting, the fireplace is absolutely gorgeous. There is an adorable dog who greets you! But the best thing, their wines are good, like very good. Best in Niagara county hands down!

We celebrated a retirement at Arrowhead recently. Robin and Duncan and their staff were absolutely amazing. There were 12 of us in attendance and I had only given them a few days’ notice ahead of time. Everything from the set-up, to the food and wine, to the clean up at the end was meticulous. Robin even packaged up all of the leftovers without my asking. The food was delicious and fresh. The gentleman getting our drinks was managing our large group as well as other customers and he was outstanding, he even remembered to take a picture of our group! What a guy. Every time I’ve been to Arrowhead Springs Vineyard I have enjoyed the top-notch wines and incredible atmosphere both inside and outside. I highly recommend this winery. Thank you for yet another great experience Arrowhead!

I am so thankful that I found this gem of a vineyard. I was looking for a quality wine and vineyard with a nice lunch for my family. Everything was so wonderful. We are so impressed by the Cabernet Franc from New York. Absolutely outstanding. Their food was outstanding, friendly staff, beautiful vineyard with relaxing calm , beautiful environment. They have a dog named Ian who resides at the vineyard. He is such a gentleman and we had to come back for a second time because our young son was missing him. We are from out of state and live in Las Vegas. When visiting upstate New York or if you want wine shipped. I highly recommend this place. Family Friendly !!!

During a recent trip from Buffalo, NY, my partner and I stopped by Arrowhead Spring Vineyards on our way back to Canada.

Intrigued by the idea of exploring U.S. vineyards, We were eager to see how they compared to the established vineyards along Niagara Lake.

The ambiance at Arrowhead Spring is extremely pub-like, and I found the white wines, from the flight menu, to be extremely acidic, lacking the balance and finesse I enjoyed in Canadian offerings.

Those expecting a more traditional, refined ambiance and tasting experience would find Arrowhead Spring simply too casual.

On May 12th, 2024, which was Mother’s Day, I took my girlfriend, who is a mother, to this location. Unfortunately, they did nothing special for Mother’s Day—no discounts, free offerings, or appetizers. Parking was free, as usual, on their gravel lot.I mentioned that my girlfriend likes Rieslings, so they offered her a flight of four wines to taste. I also noted that I can get gastric reflux from overly tart or acidic wines, so they provided a flight of four for me as well. We sat outside on children’s furniture, looking out at a vineyard that was not in season (not the right time for lush greenish), and gazing at their elderly family dog that was lapping at their bowl.My girlfriend only enjoyed one of the white wines, and it took some time to grow on her. I found all the red wines I tasted too tart and acidic, almost to the point of being undrinkable. When asked how we liked them, I returned my barely touched glasses. Surprisingly, the server agreed that they wouldn’t have been easy to drink with my gastric reflux. Why offer them in the first place if that was the case? Having stated that I like Eastern European wines and Australian Shiraz’s which have an average acidity of 5.5 to 6.5 grams/L I was given a flight of wines with less than 4.5 grams/L acidity. Just say you didn’t have any reds that would be to my liking.Despite my girlfriend purchasing a bottle, I do not recommend this vineyard, especially for reds. The Canadian side of Niagara’s wine country consistently offers less acidic, more palatable wines with better views.
