We were sat in a small room outside the main dining room. Felt cramped. Ribs were so dry and overdone. BBQ sauce: terrible. Tasted like vinegar and catsup. The only thing I liked were the sides.
First off I would like to say the service was exceptional. Our server Charley was a delight. She was very knowledgeable of all the menu items and her recommendations were perfect. The food was delicious especially the smoked wings and burnt ends. I will definitely be returning to this barbecue gem.
The fries here are awesome.
Our brisket and pork were thoroughly cooked and tender but with no wood-smoked flavor. Having grown up in the South, this always disappoints me.
Spent about $53 for two sandwiches, brunswick stew, a beer and a Coke: yes, they have Coke products + tip. The fried catfish seems like a great value. Wish I had ordered that.
