Parkside is a nice, clean, summer eatery conveniently walkable near Day Road Park in Lockport. Although a bit pricey.... the food, quality and portions are good. They also value local brands (Scapelletis).... It's a good menu with something for everyone, served by a good staff of summer bound students. We enjoy our visits

We love going for an after walk ice-cream and pup cup! Friendliest staff and great food options.

Stopped here for ice cream. We were directed to go to the ice cream side. Then to order we had to go back to the front, only to have to go back to the ice cream side to pick up our order. Honestly I was very disappointed in the vanilla custard. It was an icy consistency, and not creamy at all. I'll stick with going to Jamie's in North Tonawanda.

First time trying Parkside Drive in since moving to Lockport. I was sadly disappointed because I drive by all the time and it looks like a cute spot. The food was subpar and way overpriced. It cost $35 for a few items for two people. Gave the soft serve ice cream a try and had to throw it out because it was chunky. The girl at the counter was nice but tried saying it was just ice chunks from it being so hot out. Definitely not ice chunks, it was small soft chunks.

I tried this place twice. The first time I ordered a Zweigle white hot and macaroni salad. The white hot was very dry and the outside had very little color (barely brown). The Mac salad was basically macaroni and mayonnaise. The quantity of the Mac salad was about the same as two (2) supermarket sample sizes or an espresso shot cup. On my second trip, I just ordered the two cheeseburger special (advertised at the counter as cheeseburgs). Each cheeseburger came on a bun with 1 napkin each which was already unusable as the grease and juices were already soaked up into the napkins. The cheeseburgers were fine but nothing special, although they were juicy. There are no napkin dispensers to get more. You must stand in line to get more napkins. Also the only two condiments on display are ketchup and mustard which you must return to the front counter to dispense them.
The place isn't horrible however it's not customer friendly as far as atmosphere and overall convenience. It just seems awkward to me. I think you get more bang for your buck at Texas Roadhouse, TGIF, or any other place that has a burger on their menu. I don't personally care for Applebee's however I'm told that they do make a good burger.
Also, as I'm sitting here writing this review, the staff are openly complaining about the customers. I am a good 15 to 20 feet away and I can clearly hear them. I would say Parkside Diner is adequate at best. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, especially after witnessing the inappropriate complaining by the staff.

Burgers, nuggets and fries all not crispy and rubbery. Fries looked like they weren’t done cooking. Won’t go back for a bit, which is sad because last year it was way better. :(
Employees were very sweet, didn’t know how the food was until we got home.

Food was good, nice variety of food. I do believe it was over priced. Especially with other competition around. but I would eat here again.

Should teach your staff to wait until a customer leaves to complain about them. Questioned if we were missing something, we were not and we apologized. Teen girl goes behind the counter and starts complaining to the other staff and making up lies. Doing this for everyone to hear since we went for condiments. We are not looking for restaurant service just some common courtesy and tact which this staff lacks.

Great food!!!! We had a lovely waitress who I believe was the owner of the establishment. Kids ran around playing and enjoyed ice cream afterwards.

Absolutely an amazing lunch as always. Fresh and so very tasty and filling. I am stuffed. The special egg rolls were amazing.

I recently tried the loganberry, The taste was the worst part. Instead of the refreshing tang I expected from a loganberry, I was met with a cloying sweetness that lingered unpleasantly on my tongue. It was as if someone had taken a handful of sugar and sprinkled it over some vaguely berry-flavored water. The aftertaste was even worse, leaving a strange chemical sensation that made me question what exactly I had just consumed.

The food is pretty average for a burger place. Sweet potato fries are good. So is the sausage sandwich. It’s all a bit overpriced.

What bothered me was that all of the teenage staff seemed scared to make a mistake. No smiles. No real engagement with customers.

Cute new burger & dog joint right across from Day Rd Park. I liked the setting, the place was squeaky clean & everything brand new, servers though young were very friendly, food didn't take long. The food I had was decent but portions seemed small for the price (which seemed a little high to me). However, they had a lot of meat & sandwich options for a hot dog stand. & They sell local sausage (Scapaletti's). & Some ice cream, too. There's also a bakery right next door ("Half- baked"). They have indoor & outdoor(w/umbrella) picnic tables. Overall it's a nice little stop & in a great spot for families coming from the park.
