I agreed to meet up with a friend here, to celebrate her birthday. I have driven by the Pot-o-Gold hundreds of times. I always thought it was a bit of a dive and was surprised when she suggested it. I was very surprised to find a very nice, and very spacious restaurant. The menu is small, but my meal was soooo good. I hope to return in the future.
Definitely was surprised with interior, was expecting a hole in the wall and it was actually pretty nice for a "pub." Went for the wings with JJ sauce on a recommendation and they were DELICIOUS. Would go again for these.
Not one wet wing! Not one! Crispy and saucy ?. Ohhhh how they know how to "Wing" a gals heart!... ok the real real....30 wings 15mild 15 special sauce...50 bucks but I tell ya it's worth it! REALLY worth it; juicy, meaty, crispy skin and sauced to heck... Delicious.
