It’s connected to the ice rink the atmosphere is really nice it’s my favorite bar over all the drinks are good I wouldn’t say that the staff is the friendliest the women are very nice and the male bartender maybe his name is John? He looks like one lol I don’t know he does his job well, but he’s not too friendly got to be honest dealt with him a handful of times, not fond of him a couple of the girls that I’ve taken over there have picked up on it as well. They said that he’s pretty rude. I don’t let it run my experience. The chicken sandwich is bomb. Their pizzas actually one of the best in lockport who would think that a bar would have better pizza the most of the pizza joints I recommend ordering a half a pie for you and your date to share

Very nice place. Hade a very homey community vibe since there's a ice rink attached. The chicken wings were delicious ?, great place for family and travel stop. It's a bit smaller so larger parties would probably have difficulty.

Nice place, not huge. Food was okay. Grilled chicken was decent, it did not have mayo or oil on it. If it was flavored l,(lemon pepper, garlic parmesan). If asked I would go back and try something different l. Nice customer service.

We had an hour and a half between games, so stopped in for lunch. I ended up not ordering because it was too close to the next game by time our order was taken. I had to leave while the rest of the family was just getting food. Not that busy, 20 minutes for the waitress to check on refills, gave us 2 napkins for 6 people, i tried to order through the bartender, and he didnt allow us which is ridiculous, waited another 15 minutes after that to order, even though he said someone would be right over. They forgot an item we ordered. One item came out 5-10 minutes after the others. The forgotten item was well after that, someone else had to pay for that since i had to leave. No attempt to make it right, apology or anything. Worst experience ever. The only reason i left a tip is because it was christmas (wouldve helped if i got a thank you). I will not go back there, there are other restaurants around.

The waitress was not very friendly or personable and the entire time we were dining, she was shouting throughout the restaurant with whoever she was seeking attention from.The food was sub par. We ordered char grilled wings and they came out burnt way too charred and not very flavorful.The Penalty Box lives up to its name and is penalty box bad!
