This is an isolated place but an awesome winery with good tasting. I loved their dry wines
Wonderful people, amazing wines, and a gorgeous view.
Boundary Breaks Dry Reisling is one of the best wines I've tried
This place is phenomenal! The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the views are stunning. Definitely a must for a Finger Lakes visit!
Wow! Came across it by accident.. off the beaten tourist track today ( 11/6/2025)
Absolutely amazing.. every taste was an absolute winner. šÆ
We tried 2 others.. more popular places, we wouldn't return to them ever again!
But plan to go back to Boundary Breaks before we leave the area for 2 more bottle of wine to take back to New Jersey (where we live) and Australia for Christmas.
Please make a point of visiting this winery staff incredible and wine as good better than most!
Thank you for a wonderful 1st experience at lake Seneca..
We will be back!
Boundary Breaks is a beautiful property. We came in the off season on a quiet Monday late afternoon. The scenery/ view is outstanding and while we wish the weather had been a bit less windy and warmer so we could have sat outside, we had a great experience tasting at the bar with Alison who was a delight and so informative. The wines were outstanding and we enjoyed everything we tasted. Highly recommend!
Absolutely beautiful location. Great selection of wines. Bruce, the owner, was a pleasure to meet and very helpful. Views are stunning. We loved the Rieslings and bought a couple of bottles.
PS: I made the mistake of reading the one-star reviews. Apparently, thereās a rare breed of āEntitled Doorknobā out there who canāt count to six or follow simple tasting rules. Bruceās responses to them deserve their own award. Protecting the winery from rowdy, half-fermented Yobos? Thatās just good business. Bravo, Bruce ā pour yourself another glass!
There is a Reisling here for everyone! There is a unique Gewurtreminer here as well. The view is magnificent too!
Nice experience and very hospitable staff.
Great view on Seneca Lake.
Dog friendly!! Love the view

A personal great experience! You are greeted by the owners Diana and Bruce who both provided a warm inviting welcome they made us feel at home. The wines themselves matched the spirit of the winery thoughtful and welcoming. I am a big fan of the dry riesling and just became a follower of the cab franc. We look forward to visiting again.
Dog friendly, great staff, and stunning lake views. A perfect setting for wine tasting.
This winery never fails to impress. A scenic and welcoming venue with an incredible staff. Rich gave a great tasting with a vast amount of knowledge on each wine. They are dog friendly and very accommodating. 10 out of 10.
