Hands down one of the best Gyros I have had. For sure the best in Nassau! I have tried a lot of different places, throughout the county, Abe’s definitely is the best, they stuff it with meat, just the right amount of toppings and sauce. Give it 10/10 for me highly recommend!
I went into Abe's for some orders of sides to go with my dinner at home. The food is great, especially the seasoned potato wedges, but the place is really run down. It does not "appear" clean because of that. There were two full tables of people (there are only 3 tables),enjoying their food, and lots of walkins like me picking up. I will continue to patronize, but I hope one day they have the resources to do some renovation like Los Latinos did.
Maybe I'll give them another chance. Kind of run of the mill greek spot. Food is kind of bland/stale. It's more popular for delivery/take out. Gyro was okay, place is a little run down and they don't seem to care much about anything so thats why I go elsewhere for greek.
