Atlantica has one of the most enviable locations in Long Beach — right on the boardwalk with gorgeous ocean views — but unfortunately, the experience doesn't live up to the setting. The menu is surprisingly limited and lacks creativity, especially for such a prime beachfront restaurant that could easily draw crowds with a few more inspired options. Service was poor during my visit — inattentive and disorganized — which really detracted from the overall experience. The food itself was just eh — nothing stood out, and it didn't feel worth the price point. With just a few simple adjustments — expanding the menu, improving service training, and focusing more on quality and guest experience — Atlantica could easily become a top destination. Right now, though, it feels like a missed opportunity in a fantastic location.

The food was excellent but what made the evening was our waitress, Marion.. She could not have been more attentive and pleasant..

Marian was excellent. We really enjoyed our flatbreads and how salad. Seats right by the window for a beautiful view!

Made a reservation for 9Pm, I arrived at 9:05 only to find out that the kitchen was already closed. Horrible experience i would not recommend, this is unacceptable especially when they mention a 15 min grace period. Have never before been to this place and i will not be going back!!

The service was AWFUL. Waited 1 hour for our food and then 2 breakfasts had to be sent back because they were cold and over done. All the food was either like warm or cold. They comped nothing!!! Will NEVER eat there again!

Very good food and service at this lovely restaurant. Hostess Patti always takes care of us when we dine here - 5 stars. Burger was delicious. Fries were crispy and tasty.

The service was great however the Food was not good. I have not been feeling well since an hour after I left. I feel as if I have a stomach bug so it must be from the food

Eat in town ...much better choices on menu & no long wait to be served. This hotel really caters to their wedding & shower & milestone birthday parties to use their limited servers to serve 1st. (Over hotel guests not there for event). We waited so long to even get served & menu choices are very limited & to be truthful - not great. The sushi we had ordered for lunch when we arrived & sat at bar was really horrible. Tasted frozen & thawed & I am used to good fresh sushi. Don't believe the hype. Go to the very good Italian restaurant on Park). Much much better .

In short, Atlantica is no longer a "fine dining" restaurant. The geriatric hostess was rude and unprofessional. Business must be slow because they allowed people in beach attire and bathing suits to dine like it was a snack bar. This hotel has such great potential however it always seems to disappoint. I should have listened to all of the negative reviews. I will not be returning until its under New Management.

Extremely Disappointed with Service and Practices at the Allegria Hotel We reserved a large block of rooms at the Allegria Hotel for my daughter’s wedding, expecting a memorable and smooth experience. Instead, our group encountered very poor service and unfair business practices that other guests should be aware of! As the only hotel in Long Beach, Allegria enjoys a virtual monopoly and charges extremely high prices that simply do not match the quality of service. They keep a credit card on file, pre-charge for virtually everything well in advance, and have a strict no-refund policy. We found significant inaccuracies on our final bill, such as valet parking charges for cars we never used and even a $2,000+ room charge for a room we never occupied. The most troubling issue was with the bell staff. We entrusted them with multiple wedding-related accessories—items worth hundreds of dollars and with tremendous sentimental value—which were simply lost. The hotel has no process for checking in or releasing guest property; items are carelessly placed in a large closet and retrieved on the “honor system” (or dishonor system). Detailed lists of the missing items and follow-up requests were ignored. The staff showed no interest in resolving billing discrepancies, and our attempts to correct invalid charges were met with inflexibility and disregard. The $2,000+ charge for the unoccupied room was eventually refunded, but only after repeated phone calls and emails. Their response to phantom valet charges and the lost wedding accessories was met with extreme indifference and a lack of accountability The hotel is also rigid about its late 4 PM check-in policy, which forces guests to check their belongings with the bell staff (see above). Overall, guest concerns are treated with indifference. The lack of accountability and the outright refusal to remove invalid charges or address lost possessions made our stay deeply stressful and disappointing. If you’re planning a special event or simply looking for a hassle-free hotel stay, I do not recommend this hotel. I hope the Allegria Hotel re-evaluates and upgrades its customer service and property management policies so future guests don’t experience what we did.

We chose Atlantica at the Allegria to celebrate our parents' 60th wedding anniversary and even noted the occasion in the reservation box, but unfortunately it was never acknowledged. Our server was very sweet and polite but clearly new—she tried to take our food order before asking about beverages. The appetizers were enjoyable, but the soup of the day was overly salty. We ordered the ribeye medium rare, but it came out rare—more on the raw side—with no sear at all, almost as if it had been cooked in a microwave. The sides were served cold. We sent the steak back, but the overall experience left us underwhelmed, and we decided to skip dessert and head next door for ice cream instead. This restaurant has incredible potential given its dĂ©cor and location, but the execution in the kitchen—especially from the chef—would need significant improvement for us to return.

We had breakfast. My friend had the burrito & unfortunately it was missing the sauce so it was dry. But my breakfast was the worst. Classic eggs Benedict. THE ENGLISH MUFFIN WASN'T TOASTED AT ALL. The egg was overdone for Benedict & it was drenched in sauce.

Service was a bit slow, but much better than the year before. Patti and Huss made every effort and were also very nice. Great location in Allegria hotel with views of the boardwalk and the beach. Will definitely return to Atlantica.
