The view? Fantastic. Beachfront. Sunset views… The food? Decent. The drinks? Depends on what you get and who makes it. Autumn spritz? Yummy. Martini? Mediocre… Service? Meh. The servers and bartenders all seemed like they’d rather be elsewhere.

Had the most wonderful Valentine’s day dinner tonight at the Atlantica Restaurant in the hotel. The food was spectacular as always. The service blew me away. Our server, Patrick, took fantastic care of us. Also, the manager, Jeff, went out of his way to make sure our experience was second to none. He was such a great guy to talk to and it is apparent he really cares about everyone who takes the time out of their days to dine with them. I will definitely become a regular there and suggest you do the same!

The only issue we have as a group was the wait time for service. We waited to order and the waitress forgot to bring what we ordered. The truth is the restaurant needs more servers. They just don't have enough staff frankly otherwise everything was really good.

This place is amazing! It’s one of our favorite places to eat in Long Beach. First of all, the place itself is decorated beautifully inside. But then it’s also the only restaurant that’s right on the water, so you have a beautiful view of the beach.

The food has also always been good. The last time we went, everyone at the table, got burgers, and loved them. We’ve also had the pizza here, and it’s also delicious.

The last time we went, Lois was our waitress. She was really sweet, and took great care of us. She let us know in advance that they were down a couple of servers that day, because everyone had the flu. But we were patient, and she did the best she could, and made sure that we felt like we were being taken care of. Thank you, Lois!

I don’t know why the negative reviews for this place, we had a lovely breakfast. Gorgous views from inside, food was delicious. Our waitress Veronica went above and beyond. Our son has food allergies and she was so helpful in getting him something he can have. We told her we were in a hurry as we had to check out by a certain time, she made sure food was delivered promptly. Kudos also to Maria, who was also helping out and was very efficient.

Went to Atlantica for a New Year eve with a group of 9 friends. Fixed price menu didn't allow much flexibility, but provided ample choices for the evening. The food itself, while being nicely thought out, was prepared very sloppily . Here are a few examples: I ordered scallops as an appetizer. There were 2 of them on the plate. Plate was nicely decorated, but one of the scallops was burned to a crisp while the other one was hardly cooked at all. My second dish was King salmon filet that I asked to be prepared medium rare. Again, I got a nicely presented portion, but it was grossly overcooked. There was only one choice of a desert that wasn't everyone's cup of tea. It would be nice to offer some kind of a choice... Overall, the place was nice and quiet to a point where you could have a conversation at the table without shouting. Place itself is nice, service was good, but food leaves some room for improvement. Possibly situation may be better during “standard” dinner time... My other complaint is with OpenTable reservation system - since the event was prepaid, it was impossible to add people to the reservation after it was made. Fortunately, Adam (name?) at Atlantica handled combining multiple reservations well, and came out to verify that everything was OK in the beginning of the event. Nicely done!

To avoid! Arrive at 10 a.m. for breakfast, served is finally at the table at 11:30 a.m. For a hard and grilled bacon like chips, for a simple meal and wait as much, clearly a joke

This restaurant is so bad. The food is terrible. You can tell it is warmed up because they don’t fully warm it up. The duck was practically raw when it came out. Why would you think that is appropriate to serve ? The codfish was plain accompanied with poorly done udon. The flatbread is good. Maybe stick to bar food ? Service excellent, atmosphere excellent food is absolutely terrible.

The views and ambience at Atlantic are stunning as it is located on the Long Beach Boardwalk. The food was mediocre, but the ambience and the cocktails definitely offset the actual food. I would definitely get cocktails and apps here again just for the location.

What a disaster!
Went today for brunch. I mentioned to the hostess it was my birthday but there was no acknowledgement. The service was what I call - wait and pray. I ordered avocado toast which was lackluster. My oatmilk cappuccino was not frothy but plain hot milk with some coffee added to it. My grandson’s chicken tenders were overdone and the fries were straight from the freezer to the fryer. The eggs ordered by my son were mediocre.
As we left, the hostess waved to us and said-“ Could you do me a favor, whilst we waited and watched. her fumbling in her handbag for over a minute. She whips out a card with a scan url and says - could you leave me a review? I said that it wasn’t a good idea that I left a review because I found the food and service unacceptable. She insisted on a reason and then said- you liked me didn’t you ? This is for me !! So, bad food. Terrible service and a hostess who tries to force you to leave her a review !!!A perfectly ghastly end to an awful brunch.

This is the second time we've come to this establishment and noticed that the overall service and management was very disorganized. The ambiance and overall decor is quite stunning with a beautiful ocean view. The food is quite delicious and diverse so no complaints there however it was served cold. We noticed the burners (this was a thanskgiving day buffet) were not turned on and when my wife made a comment to management about this, he told her directly that she was wrong. Everything seemed disorganized as if no one really knew what was going on. We paid 20% gratuity when we booked this dinner but we were confused as to where the tip went since our server was only there to help with drinks which we did not order. Also, the AC was on pretty high which is not necessary when it's 35 degrees outside and an open buffet. Food was replenished a bit slowly but definitely hotter by the end of the evening unfortunately. I really do hope management can fulfill the potential of this restaurant.

The hotel manager ARTURA, JEFF was excellent. Made sure everything went right and smoothly. The view was spectacular and we will definitely be back.

Reception was chaotic. The table was very nicely positioned with a good view of city and ocean and considering how many people were there, it was relatively quiet. However, the buffet left much to be desired, including cold and unappetizing food and long lines as well as certain items that ran out or were no longer available. On the other hand, when I expressed this to management they tried to be accommodating and promised that they were aware that things needed to be improved. The wait staff was courteous and were responsive.

On Wednesday evenings they have a special promotion that is unbelievable. Salad, pasta and main dish for 4 people served family style for $59 total. The food was very good. The portions were plentiful. We ordered an extra appetizer which was unnecessary. We also upgraded the pasta to Bolognese for $3 which was delicious. With drinks and tip it came to $60 per couple. You can't beat it.
