The only issue we have as a group was the wait time for service. We waited to order and the waitress forgot to bring what we ordered. The truth is the restaurant needs more servers. They just don't have enough staff frankly otherwise everything was really good.
Went to Atlantica for a New Year eve with a group of 9 friends. Fixed price menu didn't allow much flexibility, but provided ample choices for the evening. The food itself, while being nicely thought out, was prepared very sloppily . Here are a few examples: I ordered scallops as an appetizer. There were 2 of them on the plate. Plate was nicely decorated, but one of the scallops was burned to a crisp while the other one was hardly cooked at all. My second dish was King salmon...
The views and ambience at Atlantic are stunning as it is located on the Long Beach Boardwalk. The food was mediocre, but the ambience and the cocktails definitely offset the actual food. I would definitely get cocktails and apps here again just for the location.
