This place simply has the best pizza 🍕. I grew up in Long Beach and never realized how fortunate I was to have Gino's until I moved out of state. I always look forward to coming home and eating here as the pizza 🍕 is at the top of its class. The service is also very friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Gino's if you want the very best pizza 🍕
Gino's is still the go-to here for casual Italian. The only negative is they don't make veal anymore. When I asked about that they said it was too expensive. So raise the price. They make a great eggplant parm, Caesar salad is solid and plentiful and I ask for added anchovies which makes it better. Shrimp parm is good too - I know not supposed to put cheese on fish but it's shrimp not flounder. Tastes good. I order the Mediterranean salad sometimes also very good....
Gino’s Pizza is so good—highly recommend the grandma slice! The location is super clutch—just a short walk to the beach and right across from the train station. It does get really busy, especially on nice days, but the service is quick and efficient, making it perfect for grabbing a slice on the go.
