Not the best experience I was standing at the door waiting to be seated they noticed me after 15 minutes and they tried to squeezed me by the bathroom when they have table available for one person in the main area . Probably they treat the locals differently from the visitors. I just get up and left . And to answer the restaurant reply I asked the hostess to change me the table and I pointed to her that is empty a two seats table . She denied me to let me seat there .

Upon reading reviews I expected weak coffee. Coffee did not disappoint; it was delish. Ordered the signature pancakes (banana) with bacon. Excellent. I'm here on business, and if I return to LB, I will visit again! 3 stars for atmosphere as it's tiny inside. But perhaps that's the allure?

The people who answer the phone at this diner have the nastiest attitudes and always have. I guess because they have plenty of business and they could get away with it. Not to mention the delivery drivers that show up at your door usually looks like a junkie. I know, I know, you shouldn't believe one bad reviewer...please give them a chance and experience for yourself. I used to put up with it because they were the only game in town but today was the last time. Good bye laurel, hello TOAST! And stop claiming you invented the lime rickey ya bunch of liars!

Typical American diner. Many employees swirl around the restaurant. ? Order didn't come quite as expected. But it was basically good if you like the American diner style.
Enjoyed the Elvis Pancakes (with banana and peanut butter) because they were balanced and not over the top. Server was great. Iced coffee was meh watered down, iced up diner coffee.

been here with my boyfriend twice. we travel from uniondale to long beach via bus and when we go to long beach, we eat here. the food is very delicious, presented beautifully, staff are attentive and nice. the atmosphere is great as well, they play good music
