I canāt say enough about this beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Long Beach! The food was exceptional, flavorful, and fresh. The beet salad was light and refreshing, with crunchy hazelnuts and a delicious dressing The filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus was perfection. The branzino was crispy and paired beautifully with the Dijon sauce. The lobster mussels were unbelievable ā the buttery lobster sauce was out of this world. And the dessert was the star of the night- a peach crumble cobbler with pistachios and vanilla ice cream that was truly unforgettable.
On top of the amazing food, Daniele, our server and manager, gave us such warm and attentive service, making the experience even more special.
This place is a must-visit and will definitely impress you!

Long Beach was (and still is) in dire need of a diverse restaurant scene. I mean thereās a few incredible places (Iām looking at you, lost at sea), but overall thereās still room for improvement. LB Bistro was a pleasant surprise and a great addition to help fill this gap. I ordered the sole, which encompassed everything great about this establishments food: subtle yet complex flavors, fresh ingredients, and a beautiful presentation. That fish was truly one of the best and most memorable dishes Iāve had on the island. That being said, thereās always room for improvement. My main gripe was the cooked quail egg on the steak tartare. It was very confusing having a cooked egg on top of a raw dish. Another small yet important complaint was honestly the decor. It was a little messy and not what I was expecting when going to dine at a french restaurant. Other than that iām thrilled to have another fine dining experience worth your time and money in this city, and I canāt wait to see this establishment thrive in the future

Very very good food. Great service. Tasty wine. They have so many gluten free options and even a dedicated gluten free menu with detailed notes on it !! Why donāt all restaurants do this!? Amazing and it was just great.
Give this place a try!

The food was phenomenal! The portions are huge! Fast before you come. Truly excellent French cuisine. I lived and worked in France so my standards are high. The service was expert and extremely attentive. On such a commercial stretch, a real gem of authentic French cuisine and exceptional service. Beautiful and charming interior. Vive le LB Bistro!

My partner and I had dinner here last night. The restaurant is lovely, with spacious tables, pretty lighting and a modern, calming decor. My onion soup was perfect; a rich stock, perfectly caramelized onions, lots of gooey GruyĆØre and bread and it was HOT, not lukewarm, as it should be! The generous beet salad was adorned with hazelnuts for a nice crunch. The burger was really special, served with cheese and bacon as toppers - the meat itself was delicious. Sadly, my mussels were gritty (not a great batch) but the mariniere sauce was addictive. I was going to just let it go, but the very attentive chef, who walked the dining room to make sure his guests were well cared for and enjoying their meals, noticed and asked me about them. He offered to make me something else, and when I declined, he very graciously removed the charge from our bill. His servers should emulate his attentiveness - we had to request bread several times from different servers, and no one refilled the water glasses. All in all, it was a very good experience and we will return.

Iāve eaten at both the bar and dining room and always had fantastic meals. The food is excellent. We loved the steak sandwich at the bar, shrimp cocktail, and French onion soup. The āframboise tiniā was also delicious. We recently celebrated my momās birthday here and the staff went out of their way to make her meal very special. We will definitely be back!
