I just moved to Long Beach and could not find my beloved Barry’s Tea anywhere. Then I heard about Mary’s and walked 2.6 miles to get the tea. I was assured that it will always be available, which is a great comfort to me. Next time I go I will order breakfast in this lovely little spot.

finally got lucky on my second try. First time I reached around 230 pm and the lady said kitchen closed at 2 pm. I made it early this time around 930 am. had plenty of tables to choose from. Ordered full Irish breakfast 18$ and a cup of coffee 3$. the food didn’t disappoint. The bill was somehow 25$. I didn’t realize until I left the place. that was a bit disappointing.

Scone was great. Corned beef hash lacked corn beef and hash browns burnt. No coffee refills. Not impressed.

Jenny and I have been coming here since we moved to Long Beach 4 or 5 years ago. We have always been treated like royalty and consider this place like family. I absolutely love the food and this place will always have a special place in our hearts for many years to come. We are moving in August and I truly believe this place will always be the thing we miss the most about Long Beach.

2 Eggs over hard with cheddar on Trish Toast - the Jenny special lol

Thank you for the many memories and I can't wait to come back again to visit.

I visited Mary’s Irish Shop on a Thursday around lunchtime and had a great experience. Our group was seated right away, and our server, John, was fantastic, friendly and attentive.

The shop is located on a lively street that’s perfect for people watching, with lots of activity and a welcoming community vibe. Our food and drinks came out quickly, and everything was delicious and hit the spot.

Inside the shop, there’s a great selection of Irish treats from chocolates and chips to fresh bread and sausages. It’s a popular spot for both sit down meals and quick grab and go items.

Overall, I had a wonderful time at Mary’s and I’m already looking forward to coming back next time I’m in Long Beach!

Love this establishment. Reminds me of my visits to ennis, true irish atmosphere. A go to whenever I've family and friends visiting from other 🇺🇸 states and around the globe looking for a true irish breakfast. From the time you walk through the door you receive such a warm welcome, it's doesn't matter if your a local from around the corner or stopping in from another location. Mary and her team are lovely. The food is fabulous, tasty and my god the full irish with black and white pudding and real bacon and eggs is amazingly tasty. The chef is brilliant. A must go to this side of the bronx for a really authentic irish experience..the heart of the irish is felt here....thank you Mary for a tranquil fun experience including the great selection of irish/ English treats like custard creams,Ribena, Barry's tea, hobby knobs and digestive biscuit and more for sale to take home a devour..LOVE THIS CAFE XXX

Mary’s is the perfect portal to feel like you’ve just taken a quick trip to Ireland without having to leave Long Beach. Get a scone with the works and a tea. My grandma loves their to-go options like shepherds pie and black pudding. Their avocado toast on brown bread with a poached egg, a side of spinach and a tomato is one of my top 3 favorite breakfasts on Long Island. Delicious coffee and tea always served in the prettiest mugs. Super cozy spot, I love it especially on a rainy day
