Sorry for the long overdue review! Food and service is consistently excellent! Been going there forever and their chopped salad is to die for! Baked clams are out of this world, pasta dishes, seafood, fish, veal are so sinfully delicious! Their desserts, oh my! A must go to restaurant in Long Beach, NY

Am bummed to have to leave a one star review. Eat here a lot and really like it. Unfortunately this last visit was not great because of management. I had purchased a groupon before Covid. Completely understand how restaurants are suffering at this time! I called and asked whether the Groupon that expired during Covid could be used. I was told yes and it was confirmed when I arrived. Unfortunately, a manager then told us (after we ordered and ate!) that he would not accept it. That the person who said yes multiple times wasn't authorized to say yes! Not sure how/why that becomes my problem?Really poor customer service and very rude for no reason.

Bomb.com Italian family style. Mio just does it right. Always ideal to show up with 4+ people so everyone can consume the greatness. When they have the warm motz app as a special, my life feels complete. Stop reading the reviews now and just call up for a resy!

This place is spot-on! We come here for special occasions. I love love love the food! The only one menu item that we didn't like here was their steak (maybe we just got a bad batch but it definitely wasn't prime cut) - we were so disappointed we had to send it back, but it was nice of them to take it off our bill. Everything else was absolutely wonderful! They have huge portions which is a great bonus.

I had groupon that expired end of may. Long beach branch was totally closed. Merrick branch was open for takeout and owner admitted he was co owner of long beach also but refused to take my groupon that would soon expire. He said "I am not making any money on this". Shame on him, really. I will never ever go to the Merrick restaurant bc of this. I have tried to reach owners of long beach but have been unsuccessful.
