Always a wonderful experience at Nagahama. The food is authentic and top quality, extremely fresh and well prepared. Beautiful sushi and sashimi selections, on par with what you’d find right in the heart of Japan. Definitely try the Toro (Bluefin tuna — a market price selection) and Unagi (salt water eel). Outstanding rolls, too. A large bottle of hot Sake complemented our meal nicely. We enjoyed that our server was wearing a kimono, a small touch that made the whole experience feel more authentic. Overall, this place is consistently serving up quality. I highly recommend!

This was absolutely ridiculous and if i wasnt starving i wouldve went back and demanded a full refund. staff was very kind and accomidating over the phone but when i went to pick up my food 1. there was BARELY and fish and all i tasted was rice 2. my friend ordered an appetizer for $16 and all it ended up being was 4 pieces of octopus 3. portions were ridiculously small. save ur money go to yummy yummy or xaga.
Best sushi restaurant. Always a great experience since the quality of the both the product and service are superior. Grabbing a seat at the bar and ordering a bottle of wine or sake is our favorite option for date night.

Top sushi spot in Long Beach. Place is always busy, no reservations, great take out. Do not look past the sushi options, dumplings are definitely made in house and the aged tofu is delicious.
The owner, chef and lead hostess are always onsite. Sit at the bar for a good look into the action and treat yourself to a piece of toro or another specialty piece of fish that is perfectly prepared. Every customer is a regular and the staff recognizes it. Thank you for a delightful meal every time.

Simply the best sushi! Everything is always fresh and delicious! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a friendly hostess, until you leave, your time there will be well worth it. Your wait may take awhile, but trust me.. you will be glad you were patient! Enjoy!

The food is fantastic.. but honestly I didn’t feel too comfortable sitting by the bar area.. the last time I went I waited like 30 minutes for 2 rolls 👀.. they tasted great but I mean.. I saw other people that just had came in recently, getting their food before us … but like I said the food was great 🙌🏼

I almost don’t want to review because I don’t want to give up my spot. Easily the best sushi on Long Island, lovely staff and my favorite place to go.
