Good Thai food restaurant but very small portions for the prices they charge.

We felt that the portion sizes did not match the price, and that the food lacked the spice levels communicated by the descriptions. And most importantly we found a hair in our food, which was a hygiene concern.

There are several Thai places in Long Beach but Ra-King is the best of the bunch. Good tasting food, decent price and quick service. Definitely stop by if you need a good Green Curry dish or spring rolls!

The summer rolls were awesome. Lots of vegan options under curries and sautéed. I got tofu with garlic sautéed, amazing

We enjoyed the food and service here. Everything was delicious. Large portions, with fresh and authentic ingredients. The menu is via a QR code on the table. I prefer a regular printed menu, but that’s minor. The waitstaff was helpful. The atmosphere and service was nice. Would definitely recommend it and we would go back for sure. Nice spot for couples and small groups.Vegetarian options: There are various options for those that don’t want meat, and the vegetables and noodles were fresh, tasty, and plentiful.

Went for dinner yesterday, party of 4. We were immediately seated. While we were seated 3 other tables of two were filled. We waited half an hour for our appetizer, while everyone else was getting there food in a timely manner. After more than 45 minutes we asked were our main entrees were. The two servers scurried and argued with each other and we all got our entrees cold. Servers did not even dignify us with an explanation.
The curry we have now had three times and each time it was pretty solid. The last time it had a bit too much oil but nothing too bad. The red curry had the right amount of spice and flavor. My husband enjoyed his mussamun curry and both times had a lot of veggies and peanuts and was a good mix of spice. The only complaint is the fact that the spring rolls are super tiny and same for the pot stickers. It’s a good choice for a meal in Long Beach.

It has been several years since I dined here and I am glad that I returned. Our meals were excellent; LOTS of flavor, good portions (not too small, not too large), beautiful decor as always, very good and attentive service, prices are moderate. We will definitely return yet again.

RaKang is by far my favorite Thai spot anywhere near Long Beach. The service and food are always very consistent and efficient. The pad Thai is always perfectly cooked and the Thai Basil Fried Rice is one of my favorites also. Be sure to ask for some Thai Chili sauce or Peanut Sauce add to you favorite dish!

One of my go to spots in town. Everything is so good, hot, fresh spicy, great lunch specials, amazing currys and specialty dishes. The woman chef in the back is always there hustling, service is always great. I order take out on rainy/cold days. Green and red curry are my go to dishes. Anyone who says anything bad about this place is wrong. Portions are not small.
