Just what we were looking for. Perfect location along the boardwalk to sit back, enjoy some music, people watch, and cool off. Staff was friendly and fast. So glad we stopped here. Accepted cash only, but there was an ATM right next to the counter. Bathrooms were in good condition.

Have been here a couple of times during my visit and highly recommend it! Whether you need a coffee or quick bite they have great choices. The sweet potato tots are amazing! They are in a great location with a great view and plenty of seating. They have restrooms and ATMS (they only take cash).

Yesterday I went to the craft fair with my family. We started to get hungry and decided to have lunch. I was very excited because I always wanted to try the food at riptides and thought this was the perfect opportunity. My son and I sat on the bench while my fiancé waited on the line to place the order for us. Within 5 minutes a man came up to me telling us we had to move because the bench was for riptide customers only. I tried to explain that my fiance was on the line ordering but he proceeded to speak over me repeatedly “you gotta move no outside food this is for riptides only” it was obnoxious. We got up and walked to the line and I told my fiance what happened. We left and had our lunch elsewhere. I will never give riptides my business. I never tried it and I never will. Someone that obnoxious shouldn’t be in the restaurant bussiness. Shame

I went with my fiancé and son to the craft fair. We wanted to stop and eat at rip tides. My Fiancé and son sat on a bench while I went on line to order food. No sooner did they sit down, they were approached by the manager/what I believe to be the owner and said that they had to get up and leave. They tried to explain that I was on the line trying to buy food but he interrupted her and spoke over her and said “no outside food you gotta get up and go.” They came to me while I was on the line and told me what happened. I was so disappointed, I didn’t want to place my order anymore. I wanted to support a local business but got shooed away very rudely. I took my money elsewhere and supported a different local establishment. I’ve lived in this community for almost 30 years and I have never witnessed an establishment treat a patron with such disrespect.

If you're not from Long Beach or don't have a pass, expect to pay $15:25. Don't bother with cash not taken. And better know how to work the app. Us older generations may not have as much experience. Don't expect help from the girl in the booth as she stated herself, "I'm useless" ? Otherwise go to Jones beach or Robert

Went to Riptides for lunch and a smoothie. Only reason I didn’t give 5 star is because they only accept cash. No card. Would totally be 5 star if card was accepted. The staff was friendly. The food was great. The strawberry banana smoothie was excellent but my girlfriend didn’t care for her eye opener smoothie. The service was very fast. The view of the beach while we ate was incredible!!!
