Constant flow of orders, walk-in’s & pick-ups, I never mind waiting for mine because I know the amazing bites of flavor to come! Walk in comfy, family style eatery, classic tunes and again, genuine Italian feel. Place nailed it!
really great pizza everything about it the sauce the cheese the doh oh!
Placed a order for sausage patties. I was told that they would be done by the afternoon. Arrived at the store and they didn't have them. I was told that they didn't know if they had any meat to make them. They ended up making them with a sausage ring and did not flavor them. I was changed 12.00 for them and was not happy at all with the product.
One of our favorite Italian delis and pizza places, which burned down a while back. They just reopened at this new address 2 weeks ago. Their meats and deli selections are superb. My wife and I shared a margherita pizza which was excellent for an electric oven pizza. The crust is crispy and chewy in just the right places. Great sweet sauce with fresh mozzarella and large basil leaves. The selection of steaks and chops is high end. They will be reopening their original location on Park Ave some time in 2022, which featured a wood burning oven that produced a larger oval and slightly thicker crust pizza that had that bit of extra flavor from the wood fire. Most people won't notice the difference and it's worth the ride for their 17" round pie. Google maps still only shows their old location and lists it as temporarily closed. If you click through to their website you will find the new address. The current shop is much smaller with only 1 or 2 small tables, so you may want to consider take out. We got lucky today and got a seat. The owners are friendly and enthusiastic and you can tell they truly love what they do. Highly recommended.
We live near Long Beach and have been going to Sorrento's for several years. A great place to get good Italian food of all variety and great pizza. Our favorite contact is Anthony at the brick oven pizza/pastry counter. He's there with smiles, positive energy and enthusiasm. We feel happy not only in our stomachs but also in our heads when we eat pizza made/served by Anthony!
Great salad and brickoven pizza. Just don’t order something larger than a small pie unless there are at least 3 in your party.
Nice cheese, great basil taste, but too sparse on the sauce. Crust too overly cooked and burnt tasting.
My friends recently brought me here for my birthday We ordered a whole Sicilian pie It was delish Great location on a great block in a great neighborhood! Restaurant was well kept and inviting! Service was phenomenal! I also took home some leftovers and dessert. Food was extraordinary! I've been back a few times since then. Gian is there pretty much every day, he's incredibly hard working, and is always a pleasure to deal with. He always has jokes and ways to make your day better I've enjoyed every experience here! I will support this fine establishment for years to come!
This place is magic. The servers and staff were so kind and attentive. There are outdoor and indoor seating options, and people coming in for take-out pizza, deli and dessert boxes, constantly. We had two medium pies, which were massive! But let me tell you, the quantity did not skip on quality. The pizza dough was fresh and fluffy, with amazing tomato sauce and quality fresh ingredients. We died and went to to pizza heaven. Seriously, just go.. just go. Eat pizza and be happy. We also purchased an assorted box of dessert, cookies and a cannoli to go... need I say more? I am sad we do not live closer to go more often !!!! I usually have some self control, but I ate sooo much pizza, I had to come right home and have a nap.
We came here for the first time on a Friday night around 6. It was busy but not full yet. Inside is small. Only about 7 tables. We sat at a high top by the window. They also have seating outside. Each pizza is made to order with one oven so it does take a while, but boy was the pizza worth it. The dough was some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. Fluffy, sweet, but not heavy and filling. Sauce and cheese was also great. Perfect size. The service was attentive. Our waitress felt bad for how long the pizza was taking and gave us complimentary homemade house wine! It was very good and much appreciated. Best pizza in Long Beach!

This restaurant is incredible. We stopped in while we had a break between a wedding and a reception to kill time and have a slice of pizza. They don't sell slices but did have a "small" pie. I put that in quotes because their small pie is probably the size of a large pie elsewhere.OH MY GOD! It is incredible! They don't have a liquor license but offered a complimentary glass of homemade wine which is incredible. This restaurant has a deli counter with incredible looking cold cuts and a counter of delicious pastries. Go here! You will not regret it!!!!
Great food!! Not a big place, but take out, meats and sauces are great. Great pizza, too. Don’t believe the no dough sign!
