My Daughter found the food bland, she did not eat we did not ask for a refund only asked for a discount. The owner came to us with an aggressive attitude letting us know who she is. We paid and left, how bad is your business that you made our experience so unpleasant. We came to Long Beach from PA, and wanted to support local businesses.

someone assaulted my friend multiple times in front of the bouncer and she wasn’t kicked out. it’s a crowded bar!! go elsewhere if you are unhappy with being sardined in a bar. she was there with one friend and we were a group of 9 so we left. bouncer did not create a safe space for people. she must’ve been friends with the staff because they protected her.

Food exceptional but music is horrendous and relentless. Food is worth making a trip for, and the restaurant design is lovely, as is the lighting. With the right music, people would be arriving in limos from out of town. But this music is like average adult contemporary (think “smooth operator” with a boom-chk-boom-chk added in around the 4th measure on every song. It’s relentless, and if you’re conscious of music it’s like sitting next to an open garbage. It turns what could be a legendary restaurant into an average pub. Sorry for the chef, because he/she/they are brilliant. The management seems clueless, by contrast

Been here a few times. Always enjoyed it. The service and food was always good. Its why we decided to go for a birthday lunch there.This time it was very different. Saturday afternoon place was empty. The first thing is the bar stools. Seriously? The most uncomfortable things we have ever sat on. The bartender was aloof and pretty much ignoring us. The bar top was dirty. Never once was it wiped while we sat there. Had to continue to get some napkins to wipe up the water and use as a coaster. I can't tell you how many fruit flys I killed while sitting there. The men's room toilet broken and dirty. Ladies room needs a good clean as well. The place needs an over haul. To many places in Long Beach to let your establishment get this rundown. I don't mind old but dirty is a no no for this lady. I hope they make some improvements. Thank you
