The food here was okay—nothing amazing, but not terrible either. Unfortunately, the entire experience was ruined by our server, Shayla. From the moment we sat down, she came across as dismissive and uninterested in providing decent service. She was short with us when we asked simple questions about the menu, seemed annoyed any time we requested something, and had an overall terrible attitude that made us feel unwelcome.
Instead of checking on us during the meal, she barely came by, and when she did, her tone was rude and unprofessional. Customer service should never feel like you’re inconveniencing your server just by being there.
Even though the food was passable, the service from Shayla left such a bad taste in our mouths that we won’t be coming back. Management seriously needs to address this if they want people to return.

We were staying nearby and stopped in for dinner - my wife and I and 2 of our children (15 and 7.) It was a Saturday evening, there were a number of other children there with their parents and it was only about 1/2 to 3/4 full at most throughout our time there. The food was below average and the service was horrendous.
My 7 year old got macaroni, which she barely ate, but said it was fine. The rest of us got different sandwiches and none of us thought they were good. My wife ate less than half of hers. I ate most of my Nashville chicken but it might have been the worst I've had, and I ordered Nashville Hot often. The chicken was so rubbery in spots, it couldn't bite through it.
Compounding all of that, service was almost non existent. We waited at least a half hour after ordering to recieve any food. When it arrived, only 2 of the 4 meals came out. 1 of the 2 that arrived, was wrong. We had to send that one back and it was another 10 minutes before the rest of the meals came out. When we eventually got all of our food, that was the last time we saw our server. When we all finished what we were going to eat, we waited over 15 minutes and no one came to clear, see if we needed anything or bring a bill. After about 15 minutes, I set a timer for 5 minutes. I said we would wait 5 more minutes and then it would be time to go. When I went to the bathroom during that time, my wife was finally able to see our waiter walk by and flag him to bring a check.
All told, we waited an incredibly long time, the food was not good, the service was missing and we would not recommend or come back. With so many options in the area, we were disappointed to have made the choice of Speakeasy

If you're looking for good pub food this is the place The waitress was exceptional. She could not do enough.
My Daughter found the food bland, she did not eat we did not ask for a refund only asked for a discount. The owner came to us with an aggressive attitude letting us know who she is. We paid and left, how bad is your business that you made our experience so unpleasant. We came to Long Beach from PA, and wanted to support local businesses.

someone assaulted my friend multiple times in front of the bouncer and she wasn’t kicked out. it’s a crowded bar!! go elsewhere if you are unhappy with being sardined in a bar. she was there with one friend and we were a group of 9 so we left. bouncer did not create a safe space for people. she must’ve been friends with the staff because they protected her.
