This venue is very special to me and my family. As one of our favorite restaurants for many years,we dine there often and enjoy the delicious dishes dreamed up by chef Steven and served with love by his team. The vibe is friendly and comfortable; always satisfying! Highly recommend ❤️
Vegetarian options: Steven will modify most of his dishes to accommodate vegetarians!
Excellent experience. Pasta was great. All the food was great. Comfortable and clean environment. We’ll be back for sure! Friendly staff
Everything here is so fresh and delicious. The bread was hot and fresh. We started with the mozzarella and it was perfection. We also shared a Caesar salad. The salad was great and the croutons were the crown jewels on it. We had the pork chop and the alla Rosa pasta and they were phenomenal. Tiramisu was the best I have ever had. Ask for it with some whip cream. They make it in house and it is decadent. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back.
Best pasta in town. Steven, the owner is very friendly and a real nice guy. The staff is polite and won’t rush you out after your meal. Excellent food, A+
Just an amazing local, incredibly friendly, fantastic food and value restaurant.Moved to Long Beach 2 years ago. Started going here at that time. Been to every Nassau highly recommended Italian restaurant over the past 20 years.THIS IS THE BEST by far. From the owner/chef- Steve, Manager- Louis and our usual waiter, Bob.....you feel like you are family.Besides that mid $20s to a bit more for almost ALL entrees , the food is awesome. I had tonight , the Pasta Al Forno in Teglia (rigatoni baked with Veal Meat Balls, Ricotta & Mozz)...my favorite dish here and I have been here over 30 times in 2 years. Another go to favorites are the Pesto Genovese and Sesame Bowties. Mid $20s cost, and I eat a lot and take home enough to watch football with a great leftover dish. The wines are reasonable and always good. The owner and staff treat you like family and the food is amazing. Try it once and you will be hooked. You can actually speak to your table mates without shouting (the acoustics are great, the place is really nice and mellow)......You can talk about and love all your Long Island- Italian family style places on the Island, the food here is much more reasonable and much better. You walk out and realize there are still owners/and staff that want to give you a fantastic meal in a really nice setting and NOT rip you off.Love this place....
This eatery is very special in so many ways. Steven as main chef is impeccable in how he creates both traditional Italian dishes as well as unique ones. Louis and the wait staff are friendly and attentive; prices are on point and the space is immaculate, warm and inviting. Great for a romantic dinner, a friendly foursome or a birthday bash. Been a fan for over 30 years and going strong! Highly recommend!
We usually go here once per week and absolutely love it. The pork chops on special are one of the best I have had and we always order a pasta dish to complement. The Caesar salad is also one of our favorites because the anchovies are served in a paste so it distributes equally over the salad so the taste is even. The chocolate cake with homemade wipe cream is highly recommended for dessert.
We walked in on a Saturday night and got one of the last available tables. What a friendly neighborhood vibe! The staff was attentive and answered questions about the menu with patience & humor. I had the mussels in a fra diavolo sauce. I'm still dreaming of that dish and probably will remember it forever, it was great! Don't believe me, go visit for yourself!
Very nice ambiance. Table or booth seating. Tables are a good distance apart. Food was very fresh and tasty.Service was great and prices were very reasonable. Mangia ?
A little gem of a restaurant in Long Beach. Everything is wonderful. Some favorites: the mozzarella in carrozza, fresh mozzarella with sundried tomatoes, and the Caesar salad (with anchovies, of course)! All the pasta dishes are great; simple, often familiar, but with great depth of flavor. And the specials are always worth going off the beaten path to try. Recently Steven had a family dish called Crawfish Julia (pictured) that was one of my all time favorites.Try anything on the menu that sounds good to you. You won't be sorry.

While visiting my good friend we had dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed the entire experience and 5 stars is much earned. The server was quick and checked upon us even though we were the last people inside. We didn't feel rushed and it was worth every penny and a little more.
Had a wonderful dinner last night. Restaurant was lively but not too loud. Dinner was excellent. Had the rigatoni a la vodka which was fabulous. My son had the fettuccine bolognese and that was terrific, too. Generous portions. We started with the mozzarella en carrozza which was probably the best I’ve ever had… such a nice touch with the lemons and capers. Waiter was friendly and did a great job. We will be back!
Been going for decades (was a regular there even before the fire that caused them to close for a number of years). Definitely one of my favorite places in Long Beach. Excellent pasta, wonderful sauces, and the fresh mozzarella with sun-dried tomatoes literally set the standard for me for everywhere else I've ever been
Great homemade pasta with huge portions nice atmosphere, and reasonably priced. It doesn't matter how full you are get the tiramisu you won't be sorry
My girlfriend and I just recently moved to Long Beach and were looking for a place to enjoy a "good" pasta with heavy emphasis or how my colombian girlfriend says it " un pasta "bueno!" So I pulled over to the side as we were coming back from a precious engagement and googled "best pastas near me". A few listings came up but Steven's Pasta appealed to me the most and convienietly it was near my home as well. It was getting late and a weekday so we rushed over. When I got into the restaurant I greeted the waitress and asked if they were still opened and serving dinner she checked the time and said yes to our delight. My girlfriend was chilly from the weather so when we sat at our 4 top, we sat next to each other on the same side of the table but on booth seats; she likes to sporatically cuddle or lean on me to warm her body. The waitress was very polite and happy which for myself makes it easier to open up. I asked for the wine list, decent variety. I decided to go with 2 glasses of their Italian Montepulciano D'abruzzo Fantini. The waitress presented the wine decently but more importantly it tasted scrumptious; nice ruby red wine with hints of vanilla and red fruits such as cherries and plums which was advertised on the menu! As we were enjoying the wine the waitress brought out bread for the table. This part of our dinner was out of place, bread was cold, not covered or clothed no presentation, just something for the table, kinda like those pretzels you get a dive bars to chew on. Luckily Im optimistic, so I asked for a plate and made a plate of oil and drops of basalmic vinegar, and sprinkles of salt, pepper, parmesean cheese to make for a delightful snack before your meal while drinking good wine. Though we were turned off by the bread, we gave our order and continued on. Restaurant was nice, clean, other couples and familys came in so we werent alone which is nice, lighting was dim but not dark and temp of room was warm not chilly. Our dinner came out promptly but not to quick which I like and hot! I ordered the recommended popular Rigatoni in Sauce Ala Vodka which is the Chef's special pink sauce flamed with vodka and my girlfriend ordered the Linguini with Mixed Seafood which is fresh shrimp sauteed in garlic, oil and red pepper flakes in a tomato basil sauce topped with fresh mozzarella. All I could say after a few bited from both dishes. Hats off to the chef as he knows how to cook his pasta. Creamy, flavorful, distinct for his take on ala vodka which i thoroughly enjoyed, very very filling though, heavy and the linguini was delicious, light, flavorful, not fishy or smelly, just a tasty dish. One of my girlfriend favorite linguini's on the island and trust me we tried alot. All in all great place especially for top notch pasta.
