We really wanted to like this place because the host who answered my call and greeted us at the door was so kind. Unfortunately, the food and drinks are terrible. I ordered a mango margarita that tasted like lime juice. I did ask to add more mango and it came back tasting the same. I ordered the jerk chicken and it was bland and undercooked and drenched in some sort of bbq sauce. I hate sending things back and I had already sent the drink back so I just brought it home to cook it back myself. I wish we had just gotten tacos and a casual meal instead of spending on entrees. It wasn't worth it.

The atmosphere isn't bad but the service is terrible and the food is horrible I got a panini they barley put any pesto and the chicken was not good at all it was bland I’m not a picky eater either but food was horrible especially the chicken and don’t even get me started on the service

The Bungalow is our favorite local restaurant! You can't go wrong with any dish, they have fun, seasonal drinks & they're great with kids. Service is always excellent.
A great local spot to go and grab a bite and drink after the beach or a long day at work (Great for breakfast as well) Friendly staff and wide variety of food options. If visiting from out of town Bungalow East is definitely a good option for a relaxed low key atmosphere

Excellent Service. I had an amazing wrap with Grilled Chicken, Roasted Red Peppers, mozzarella on a Garlic wrap. I was able to request a spinach wrap. Fries were cooked to order. Very casual place. Parking available across the way in he center island.

VERY disappointing experience. We made a significant purchase and provided clear instructions regarding meat temperatures, dietary restrictions, and a tomato allergy. Unfortunately, most of the meat was undercooked, and there was tomato on the burger, which was concerning given the allergy. After driving back to the restaurant and clocking out from work, the response from the staff less than satisfactory. The cook handled the food with his bare hands to inspect it, which felt unsanitary and disgusting. Additionally, there was no offer to replace or refund the meal, which left me feeling frustrated.
***After a phone call with a “supervisor” we got a refund for ONLY the raw meat. This response was unprofessional and overall bad business.
In the past, I had a similar experience when ordering from Bungalow, where I was asked how I wanted my chicken cooked: rare, medium rare etc. It seems there may be inconsistencies in their service and food preparation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant and suggest the DOH make a visit.
***after checking the NCHD website it looks like they have been cited previously for: 3C food workers do not use proper utensils to eliminate bare hand contact with cook or prepared foods***
