Been living in Arris Loft for many years. A very friendly building makes you feel like home. Made many good neighbor friends here. The building has been very well managed!

This is a hotel that offers more than clean and appealing room accommodations, great views of NYC and a location that allows easy access to the City, it has the most friendly, compassionate and helpful staff. This is our third visit to this boutique hotel in the past six months, and each time has been an amazing experience with the most accolades going to the staff. Firstly, guests are greeted warmly each time they enter or depart the lobby. The staff truly makes you feel welcome and safe as they seem very much aware of who is entering or exiting the premises. Upon your arrival, if you need assistance, they will cordially help you with your luggage. On Christmas Eve, we arrived loaded down with luggage, gifts and packages. An A-Loft employee graciously helped us to our room with all of our many belongings. She refused a gratuity, and I had to chase her to the elevator and insist that she accept it. On this last stay, one of A-loft LIC staff members, who we later found out was The A-Loft’s Chief Engineer, Rene Delgado, watched as my husband, fresh out of hip surgery very slowly and with much difficulty exited the hotel. We were trying to visit a relative for Christmas Day who lives across the street from the A-Loft LIC. With much trepidation, my husband was departing the hotel to walk up the block and then cross Jackson Avenue which is a very large and busy intersection. Mr. Delgado took the time to escort my husband across the street. These are the kind of staff members that make staying at A-Loft LIC the only choice in the many choices that we have in NYC! This place was very pleasant and the food was slamming. It was tango Brasília night the people were very nice and if you wanted they also can teach you how to dance the tango Brasília style.
I had a wonderful time love it going back to check out Saturday night.

I'm the owner of Gimme Paw Dog Walking, the premier dog walking service in Long Island City. Arris Lofts does NOT allow outside dogs into the building (even though they have a side entrance which would make this relatively easy to accommodate). The bottom line is this - if you are moving to LIC and want to sign your dog up for group dog walking do not move into this building! .
