I came here for the 1st time during restaurant week & I cannot wait to return back to try the rest of the menu.The staff & atmosphere was friendly & welcoming, you could tell locals come all the time. Everything I ordered was tasty, but the star of the show was my main entree, Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew with tomatoes, pepper, onions & coconut milk) - It was both comforting and flavorful.The fish was cooked to perfection (soft, tender & flaked easily with my fork), the coconuts milk stew was rich & robust in flavor, with a smooth enough consistency to coat your spoon. In summary, it was chefs kiss! ?

I'm ashamed I haven't tried this local gem earlier! Food was delish...Brazilian cheesy bread, fried cheese with a guava dip, and fish tacos. They brought us over a lovely passion fruit dessert on the house as well. The owner was more than accommodating and him and his staff made sure that we were one hundred percent satisfied with everything! Definitely recommend!

This was my first time having Brazilian food and it did not disappoint. My partner and I had the fried chicken appetizer with chimmichuri, and the Picahna steak - everything was SO GOOD ❤️The waiters were amazing (we had a great laugh lol) and Jonathan the owner was such a joy. He chatted with us, made sure we were happy, and also made the experience so lovely.If you're in the neighborhood I definitely recommend this place

This place is a Hidden Gem located in Sunnyside!Great customer service and great food and drinks.On Saturdays they usually have a DJ & on Fridays they sometimes stay open till 4am!!!!!! Amazing place all around!

We returned to Belo tonight for the second time, having had an excellent time there several months ago. The owner, Jonathan, greeted us personally and literally remembered where we had sat and what we had ordered our first time there. That is the type of caring attention that makes this place special. The welcoming ambiance, superb service, outstanding food and exceptional value makes Belo a must place to dine in Sunnyside. The "Chicken Dinner" I had tonight was the epitome of what I would call "high end comfort food". The portions at Belo are huge and very reasonably priced. We look forward to returning in the near future for another fantastic culinary experience at Belo.
