My Perla Blanca drink was delicious and my husband loved the Mole de Piaxtla. I had the branzino, which maybe was a silly thing to order. Nonetheless it was quite disappointing and I was shocked that for $35 it was literally a piece of branzino with no sides except tortilla. No rice, vegetable, nothing. Very disappointing. I wanted to love this place. Coming off the Queens Bourdain episode I appreciated the historical significance this place has on the food scene in New York. They elevated Mexican food and created a movement that led to wonderful restaurants like Oxomoco. However, casa Enrique is lacking. The food is solid but highly priced and mediocre.
