STAY HAVIN DEM CHIPSSS ON EM
This is the SECOND time now that I’ve been told the bathroom is closed when the restaurant is still open for at least another hour. I used to work at Chipotle, I get it that cash cleans the restroom before the restaurant actually closes, but just because you clean it early doesn’t mean that you should be telling people they’re not allowed to use the restroom. At the location I worked at we would have never done that and I know that corporate would not be happy if they found out that this location and lots of other locations in New York are doing that as well. This is not how you treat a customer that spent $25 on a bowl.
I always place a mobile pick up order here and it’s never ready on time, it actually takes long after your order is due. They won’t ask you if you are waiting for anything either so you have to ask or stay there til closing. Extremely inattentive service, they show no interest or care that they aren’t meeting time constraint's. Worst service ever, which is something they can improve but they chose to have the same tired workers that do nothing. Please retrain the entire staff.
Their rice is so hard it's ridiculous like every time i get a order especially a bowl it's either watery or the rice is just hard and it's disgusting they need to do better and make better food. Someone need to report this to the health department.
They shut the cash register off at 830 and was only allowing online orders. Then 1 person made the bowl while the other 4 employees talked to him and distracted him
Worst chipotle service in New York!! Employees have the worst attitude, the way they prepare your food is really bad! Please if you don’t like your Job just quit!

Girl. If you don’t stir that white rice. I’m having nightmares about that sticky stuff you tried to over serve me. Not sure if it was white rice but I was actually pretty hungry so I ate it.. NOW.. not to be mean but, it is 2025. Let’s do better and cook that rice up cause with $26 dollars we could prolly feed a family of 5. But we chose to spend our money here & frankly l’m displeased maybe just as much as you are .. find a new place to be if you really don’t wanna make it in there , I could taste the displeasure in this rice tbh.. hoping the best for you in 2025. Sincerely.
With an hour left to close , the staff closed the bathroom. Why is Dine-in open then ? Close that too ? 15 to 30 mins before is understandable but this is ridiculous

I recently had a disappointing experience at the Chipotle located at 3173 Steinway St in Astoria, Queens. I visited with my mother and girlfriend at 10 PM on Wednesday, December 4th, and we were completely ignored by the young lady preparing the food. Not only did she give us an eye roll and a bad attitude when we asked for assistance, but she and her colleagues were dancing and clearly ignoring us. It's disheartening to see employees of such a well-known establishment treating customers this way. To top it off, as we were leaving, one of the workers shouted a rude remark about our departure. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this location.
Food tastes Chipotle-ish, service sucks, restaurant is dirty, overpriced—so, pretty typical chipotle experience tbh. Last time I ordered for delivery I waited an hour and a half before finally cancelling the order and ordering from a different place. Avoid avoid avoid

Ordered the brisket bowl. The only thing was there was no brisket to mention. There was plenty of rice beans and lettuce but i don’t even know what the brisket tastes like. Hey Chipotle, you guys sell $17 rice bowls the least you can do is add the desired protein into the bowl or burrito. This is the third time i was short changed on an order. i usually get a burrito but apparently the burrito wraps aren’t available. Well Mr. and Mrs Chipotle I have learned my lesson. 3 strikes, i’m out.

Employees do not say hello or acknowledge you. They have loud rap music blaring from their own personal speaker on the line. I smiled and said thank you to the girl on the cash register and she just gave me a dirty look. No thank you, no customer service.
Obviously chipotle is known for giving very small portions, the guy who filled my bowl made sure to skimp extra on everything. Literally 4 slices of bell pepper when I asked for veggies.
Chipotle should consider training their employees better- many of them are very young likely with minimal to no customer service experience.
Consider offering motivational goals for performance even. Maybe something such as letting guest leave gratuity?
Idk but your employees seem miserable and your guests are paying for their misery…
