Never going back here. Its sad that they have so many patrons still. From the bad service, drink qaulity and bouncer its tough to find anything redeeming about this place. Sure on surface level the prices are cheaper but there are so many better bars in Queens at the same price point
Good if you're young and willing to go up to the bar to ask for service, not a lot of staff to go downstairs to the pool area. So you have to come up and ask for your drinks most of the time.
$18 for a tanqueray and tonic in Astoria is wild!! Decor is pretty tacky as well.
It’s an incredible spot just depends what you’re looking for at the moment i’ve seen many postings on social media of sports events. It really looks like a great time when I went recently. It was a quiet moment and my experience was OK.
Went out with friends to enjoy some music and have a drink. To my surprise, the waitress’ were very unprofessional and unorganized. Moved my party of 4 twice for not buying a bottle and then for not ordering with them (we ordered from the bar). Completely fine, if they would have explained that from the get go. A true 1 star.
The music and vibe at this place were great, but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff came across as dismissive, and it felt like they didn’t care much, probably because gratuity is automatically included.
One major issue is the lack of transparency when it comes to billing. Gratuity is supposed to be added only to checks over $100, yet ours was under that and still had gratuity included without it being mentioned. On top of that, there were multiple extra charges, including a service fee, even though I paid in cash. That felt like a total scam.
We ordered two Don Julio Blanco sodas and were charged $44( $22 per drink) what!!!. I don’t mind paying a premium when it’s for a thoughtfully crafted cocktail, but this was just a basic tequila soda, and the quality was poor & soda was flat .
To make things worse, we were told we had to buy a bottle just to sit down, even though the place was empty. Expecting guests to finish a full bottle between two people just to get a table doesn’t make any sense.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this spot. It’s overpriced, not guest-friendly, and lacks transparency. There are definitely better places out there that value their customers more.
Try Rabbit hole, or other joints around the area!
I passed by this place recently, on a Friday around 600p. I don't know if it's always like this, here, but.... I was struck by the people I saw standing out front...the people going in. In a word, straight up G-H-E-T-T-O. I guess it makes sense, though, seeing as at least one other review here mentioned 'bottle service'. That's almost always a dead giveaway...that the place attracts a low-level type of patron.
Use to be a nice uplifting fun sports bar but now it's a lounge. Bottle service only if you want to be seated at a table. Use to be a loyal customer but no more. The host was really nasty to us when we entered the place.
I love the variety of music they have, their DJs are always very good, they always show the most important sports live on all their televisions and the service is very fast. The place is great! Oh and I love the techno Wednesdays 🖤
Just not great overall. Seedy place with seedy waitstaff. Honestly, most places in Astoria are great, so there is truly no point taking a chance on this place. It’s not even cheaper!

Was here for a birthday celebration. Everyone was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The food was good. We had a really good time.
Cool place to get a drink and hookah. Downstairs they have pool tables that take coins and dollars. It's not as noisy downstairs if you want to drink and play pool with friends. The Upstairs is lively with lots of TVs and seats.
I came in last night on Halloween. I was served by a young woman dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. She gave me a hard time about having a Martini on the rocks(literally just pour it in a roc cup with ice). She put her hand on the gentleman I was with and leaned her body against him. I understand it was loud, but she could’ve leaned in. All that wasn’t necessary. I have 10+ years in this line of work so I’m humble, but even minimal customer service standards are appreciated. She didn’t even smile or at least pretend to welcoming at all. I ordered another round of the same drink and she didn’t bring it so I left. The bartenders seemed friendly and festive. The bouncer was professional and I felt safe. Big thanks to them. Overall, the bar seemed like really nice place to go and the area it’s in seemed fairly decent. For me, it’s the first and last time. She wasn’t really nice.

Friends reserved a table before I met them up, bouncer didn’t want to let me in and tried charging me 25 to come inside. Explained to them my friends made a reservation and they were trying to make it seem like we were being difficult. Inside, they moved us twice and some guy with a neck tattoo kept saying he was gonna make sure we spend 250 for the night. We did not lol, no tip either and they followed us on the way out. Really chill vibe and music but just shitty workers with shittier attitudes.
