This is my go-to bubble tea place in the neighborhood (and there are tons in the area), but there are consistently issues with order updates on both the app and the TVs in the restaurant. I have not seen this problem at other locations.

Because of this, everyone who orders crowds around the counter, which blocks the path for anyone whose orders actually are ready for pickup. And people outside are waiting way longer than needed because both the TVs and the app are out-of-sync with what orders are actually ready. Even the workers themselves are confused on what orders are ready.

I love HEYTEA, but when the wait-time is constantly longer than it actually is I'd rather just walk a couple blocks away to a different bubble tea place.

Drinks here are so nasty. The Mango sago one was so watery and gross. And on top of that, the wait took forever just for drinks smh

I don’t have a picture to accompany the review but I’ve visited many other HEYTEA locations so I wanted to add some thoughts here! At this location, I decided to download the HEYTEA app and finally participate in the rewards program. I also placed a large order online for the first time (6 drinks). While we expected the long wait, the app did not accurately update the wait time. At one point, it listed a 14 minute wait (which lasted 10 minutes longer). We eventually went in the busy store, showed our order number and found that our drinks had been ready for a while. I’ll definitely check in-person next time, but was hoping the app would be as efficient as we’d expect for HEYTEA standards. Another side note, we were not able to add brown sugar boba in our drinks online, which is possible at other locations for the same drinks. Not sure if I’d visit this location again but definitely still loyal to the brand!

You give us special late drivers. The service is not good. Don't pick up the food there.

I bought a drink here on Tuesday, and while the flavor of the tea itself was actually good and well-made, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. At first, I drank directly from the lid and almost spat it out—the taste was overwhelmingly like a dirty rag. I thought maybe the lid had just been wiped with a cloth, so I let it go and tried drinking with a straw instead. To my shock, the exact same strong rag-like taste was still there.

I couldn’t believe it at first and took several sips to confirm, but every single one tasted the same. It was honestly unbearable, and I had to throw the drink away.

Your tea quality and preparation are good, but please consider improving the hygiene process—such as changing or washing the cleaning cloths more frequently. Having that kind of taste directly in your mouth really ruins the experience.

Heytea is definitely my favorite tea spot! I’m so glad they recently opened on Long Island City. My go-to drinks are the Triple Matcha and the Mango Grapefruit—both are absolutely delicious and worth coming back for.

The only downside is parking can be a little tricky, and the store is almost always busy. It usually takes about 20 minutes to get your order if you line up. I highly recommend using their app to order ahead and just pick up your drinks—it makes the experience so much easier.

Despite the wait, the drinks are amazing and totally worth it.

I was in the area and Heytea was having a BOGO deal on their cloud matcha drinks so of course I had to stop by! The space was super small with not much room to stand or sit in (1 bench) so the line was out the door. It was late afternoon and they had ran out of brown sugar boba so they offered to substitute it with any of their other available toppings. I ordered matcha bobo coconut and coco-foam matcha oat latte. Both were alright, they tasted like your typical matcha drinks. The matcha flavor overpowered the coconut milk flavor. I like their fruit boom teas more. The drinks do look very aesthetic.

Still cant decide which one is my favorite. 😍

Absolute worst wait ever! App said the wait was 6 minutes, 10 minutes later the wait increased to 8 minutes and stayed that way for 30 more minutes. It's been more than 40 minutes and we still have not received our drinks. NEVER coming back here!

The numbering system failed and everyone been kindly waiting for their drinks but the drinks were actually all ready. The staff there just cared about making orders but no one even asked about one single customer what their number is.
Drinks are just ok. Not enough real fruit compared to other stores on the west coast

I would give this negative stars if I could. I ordered just 2 drinks on UberEats and they kept my driver waiting for 1 HOUR! Wasted his precious time and money, and at the last minute, as he was about to cancel, they finally gave him the drinks. Listen, if the store is busy, then don't take the order, or cancel it so no one has to wait. Why would they let the poor man wait there for 1 hour? His job is just as important as theirs, everyone just wants their drinks. I tried so hard to contact the store, that I called 20 times! If they can't make the drinks, they can't make the drinks. I should be able to reach them through the phone to cancel and get my money back though! If I order through the app, they charge me because the driver is already there. I just find it so disrespectful to the driver and to me that they waited 1 whole hour to even start the order. They should have at least let him know, and cancelled my order. Needless to say, I'll be tipping the driver, but never ordering from HEYTEA again. -9999/10
