Focal Point hosted one of the events for our wedding weekend this Fall and it was excellent! We reserved the private tap room and driveway area and had fantastic catering provided by Sobremesa right next door. Everyone at Focal was great and our guests had a wonderful time; they especially loved the Improper Berrial sour that was on tap. Thank you especially to Aaron for helping get everything together and being accommodating to our many questions and requests!

We recently held a private event in the private tasting room and the driveway and it was an amazing experience! We could change the music, change the contents on the TV, add decorations, etc. to customize and tailor the event space with whatever we wanted. Would definitely book again!
Also special shoutout to Aaron who we talked with throughout the planning process! He was very nice and very accommodating and replied to our questions promptly!

Bubbly craft beers, delicious flavors of unmatched blends.
What a shame. My wife and I loved coming to the original location in Astoria. Today we came back to this location, and it was a truly insufferable jungle gym. Children running everywhere, pounding the back of our bench, kicking and screaming. Parents not drinking beer. The beer is still good, but I would not recommend coming here if you want to enjoy beer at a local brewery. We left after one drink. I’m very sad that we will never be back, especially because we loved Bruno and the first iteration of this brewery.

Very cool place with lots of space and very good beer and great vibes. We were a party of 6 who sat with a pitcher of beer and a few diet cokes. We went to the games shelf and found uno. I got my butt kicked! It had even a wedding celebration which was funny since I had been remarking how some ladies were wearing really nice dresses. The selection of beer was extensive and they had a fridge with beer packages to go. Nice chill Friday night.

Focal Point beer has large indoor and outdoor space. The indoor space was great to get relief from the heat wave. all the hazy IPAs are great. Best of all they are very family and dog friendly. Make this a focal place to go when you’re in LIC.

This was our favorite place for sometime in LIC, until it degraded completely like most businesses who end up relying on popularity alone. The beer is way too expensive for the actual quality and taste. The girl that took our initial order was rude as can be, probably taking out a bad or busy day on us. To top it off, basic manners and civility are NOT enforced in the slightest. Here is a picture of the latest trashy behavior we endured right next t our table; a group of people changing poopy diapers when we were having a meal with our brew, which is utterly disgusting. Not to mention we feel sorry for whomever eats at that table afterwards. Focal point/Iconyc had its day, It is now a thing of the past. good thing there are decent establishments opening up that would not tolerate this kind of ghetto behavior.
