A suburban restaurant experience where they rush the food and rush you out.A great place to bring your friends if don’t enjoy talking with them — the music will be so loud that you can’t.The menu is catchy and the food aims for comfort, but it consistently under delivers and makes it a chore to eat. When other reviewers say it’s a lot of food, they mostly mean they can’t finish it — draw your own conclusions as to why.

Had a reservation for 11:45 am. Reached there on time but were asked to wait outside for 15 mins. Then comes the food that took 1 hour to arrive and was served cold, couldn't enjoy it at all and then finally wanted to leave the place but servers forgot to even bring the cheque and after 15 mins of patiently waiting went to the counter and paid it there.Overall, I had the worst experience.

Popped in here for a quick brunch bite & received great service from our waiter Rick. Cool spot, loved the 70/80s music, spacious bathrooms, and tasty food. The pumpkin waffles and buttermilk chicken was filling & the berry compote pancakes were fluffy & tasty. Drinks were generously portioned and strong. Worth a visit if you’re in town.

Great eggs Benedict. The bread was so soft, it was like a mix between a pancake and a biscuit.

This corner location makes it ideal for people watching on those busy LIC streets. We made a reservation but there was still a little bit of a wait for our table. There were mixed reviews on the food:Pros: the salad, chicken & pancakes, breakfast platter, apple cider mimosasCons: shrimp & grits, biscuits, bacon.I would put the food rating lower but the people I dined with enjoyed their food so much more than I did. The service was pretty good.Kid-friendliness: The have an indoor spot for strollers and have high chairs.

Echoing many other reviews - friendly service, decent food for the affordability. Would return for a chill night out.Our server was very nice. The food portions were huge and the price tags on the entrees and drinks are very reasonable. Highly recommend getting a side of veggies, they just appear as a couple rows at the bottom of the menu so it’s easy to miss. Chicken waffle flavours were really good! Chicken breast was a bit dry though. The tables could be a bit more spaced out and the music was a bit too loud, although we liked the songs.

My wife went for brunch today and the staff was a bit rude. She arrived early for a reservation that was made weeks ago and the staff didn’t let most of the party sit. They even said this was mentioned earlier but it was not. We won’t be returning to this restaurant.

A cute corner restaurant in LIC. Crowded on a saturday morning. Family friendly, but all the strollers were parked in front of the bathrooms. Saw cute bloody marys in cans and needed to have one. Lots of garnish but it was only ok. Ordered the salmon benedict. It came with mini pancakes instead of english muffins. Not bad. Opted for home fries instead of a salad. Portions were hefty. Bf had the shrimp and grits. He really liked it. A side of biscuits. Biscuits were really good. Service was quick and friendly.
