Yea, this place is amazing. We were looking for a quick bite in LIC on a hot day. We were able to sit down before the kitchen break at 3:30pm to order entrees. We sat in the outdoor seating area, which had great jungle ambiance. Servers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great cocktail menu. Started off with a few drinks, the pisco sours were amazing. We tried the ceviche mixto and arroz con mariscos, fresh and delicious seafood. There is limited but parking available! Overall, great food, beautiful interior decor, great service, and decent pricing for the area.

Good food, well prepared. A bit pricey, but nice ambience and friendly wait staff. Good mixed drinks.

We recently visited Jora in Long Island City and were thoroughly impressed. Our meal consisted of paella, lomo saltado, ceviche classico, and passion fruit cheesecake - all of which were absolutely delicious. The standout drink for me was the Marigold cocktail (photo), which was refreshing and expertly crafted. The restaurant has a spacious atmosphere, and the service was top-notch, with attentive and courteous servers.

We came to this place on a late Saturday afternoon. The place was relatively packed for the time. Nice interior decoration and moderately loud atmosphere. We had a pisco sour, lomo saltado, and a chicken dish. The service was on-time and the food was very good. We'll come back again!

On a bustling Saturday evening, we did an 8PM walk-in at Jora, opting to wait thirty minutes for a table over immediate seating at the bar. We commenced with three dishes: the Grilled Octopus, placed atop a Yukon mille-feuille; the Jalea, a crispy assortment of fish, shrimp, and squid, paired with yucca and salsa criolla; and the Lomo Saltado, sirloin stir-fried with onions, tomatoes, and French fries. The addition of corn to two of the dishes provided a textural intrigue, with glutinous kernels complementing the octopus and semi-popped kernels the Jalea. The Lomo Saltado was just shy of too salty, prompting us to sip water liberally. Our meal concluded with the Passion Fruit Cheesecake, whose creamy tang atop a graham cracker crust helped balanced out the savory dishes. The service we received was cordial, the pricing of each dish was fair, and the appetizers and entree arrived in unison — ideal for larger dining groups. In summary, Jora offers an engaging dining experience with a palette-pleasing array of options, suitable for those who enjoy sharing a meal.

We went with basics: pisco sour traditional style, classico ceviche, jalea, and lomo saltado, all of which I've had frequently at other Peruvians in Queens. This was, hands down, the best Peruvian meal I've experienced.I needed a spoon so I didn't have to lift the bowl the device came in to drink the remaining juice... my dining companion asked for extra rice for the gravy in the lomo saltado. Yeah. It was that good. The fried seafood was tender ("Like butter," I said. "No, it's actually softer than butter!") as was the beef.Coffee Tres Leches cake for dessert, plus their take on a fancy Manhattan capped it off perfectly. We'll be back. Thanks for a great meal, Jora!

Business hours are wrong. Walked into the restaurant at least half hour before 10pm. Hostess was unaware of closing time and had to run to ask her manager.

Jora in LIC Queens is an absolute culinary masterpiece! From the moment we tasted their exquisite Peruvian cuisine, we knew they were something special. Alex and his team not only catered the food, cocktail hour, and drinks for our wedding, but they also became the heart and soul of the entire event.Their attention to detail and culinary talent exceeded all expectations. I've been here 4-5 times prior, but this last Sunday night was absolutely terrible. Terrible drinks. The pisco sours were unsinkable and the purple old fashioned was not even slightly purple. Raw beef skewers. The ceviche tasted funny. I'm so sad one of my favorite places just started to suck. Don't go here.

Walked in on a Friday night around 630 and was offered a bar or outdoor seating for our party of 3! Even outside, the service was exceptionally warm and inviting! Tried the passion fruit pisco sour which was very very good! Probably would come back just for pisco sours if I'm in the area. Food: Got the ceviche classico which was very sour but good. Realized I may be more of a sashimi than ceviche person. Also tried the grilled corn causa which was very good and unique - purple root purée with corn! For entrees, we shared the lomo saltado which was heavy in soy sauce and yummy but nothing too special I thought. The aji de gallina was amazing tho!! tasted like chicken stew in egg, very unique and flavorful. In total, came out to $130 for 3 people.
