I ordered a torta with chicken and a bottle of soda for $15. The chicken inside was mixed between fresher cuts and old, black, and leathery pieces of chicken. The cashier was friendly while the cook was not.

Cozy Bodega with the most badass authentic tacos! Hail Mary twenty-times over for this spot!
This cozy little spot has everything Mexican, Viva Mexico!
Family owned and run business, absolutely adorable spot. I highly recommend this as one of my Top Ten Bodegas for Munchies and Comfort food.
Best advice—take out or delivery. They used to have a chair or bench outside, not sure but if you walk down a couple blocks there’s a park where you can enjoy the sunset with a delicious taco. 🌮

I stopped in when in the neighborhood and wanted to grab a quick, affordable bite. I ordered the Torta Cubano and got a can of soda, was about $14 and change all together. The torta was huge and delicious! The lady at the counter was super sweet as well. Overall a cute spot for takeout with lots of Mexican candies and sodas.

I wouldn’t want to be “that“ customer, but today was my first and last time ordering food (I got an egg on a roll) and a coffee from here. While I was waiting, I looked around at the products and noticed that almost all the sweets in the display case were expired. I pointed this out to the cashier, but I didn’t get any explanation or apology or mentioning they’d check and throw them out, nothing. Just silence. So, I just want to let people know DEFINITELY check the expiration dates here.
I’m leaving this review, because these sweets are meant for KIDS. This stuff should always be checked because I wouldn’t want my child getting sick from chocolate that expired two months ago! (The photo shows just a small amount of products, the rest I decided not to take pictures of)

Small Mexican deli, so expect a lot of variety in snacks, drinks, etc.
Vegetarian options: You can do cheese instead of meat, there’s beans, avocado, and tamales made of maíz as well on Sundays
