I stopped in when in the neighborhood and wanted to grab a quick, affordable bite. I ordered the Torta Cubano and got a can of soda, was about $14 and change all together. The torta was huge and delicious! The lady at the counter was super sweet as well. Overall a cute spot for takeout with lots of Mexican candies and sodas.
Small Mexican deli, so expect a lot of variety in snacks, drinks, etc.
Vegetarian options: You can do cheese instead of meat, there’s beans, avocado, and tamales made of maíz as well on Sundays

Family owned and run business, absolutely adorable spot. I highly recommend this as one of my Top Ten Bodegas for Munchies and Comfort food.
Best advice—take out or delivery. They used to have a chair or bench outside, not sure but if you walk down a couple blocks there’s a park where you can enjoy...
