Mediocre food at sky high prices, and the sandwiches are very poorly constructed.

I love the morning crew. The meals are made to order. Despite the busy rush they get things down!
NOW for the night crew.. the chubby white guy is the worst! Overcharges on various occasions!! The gentleman who makes the sandwiches happens to always mess up my order. I’m a regular and will just shop in the AM!

Warning: Very slow, very rude guy behind the counter, slowly selling over-priced food.
Go in to pick up an order. You can clearly see the order is done behind him, and you wait 5 minutes for it. While he acts like he's doing YOU a favor for buying HIS food.
The food was good, and maybe the guy was just having a miserable day. But I'll never be back to find out.

the negative reviews are 100% accurate. Ordered a sandwich listed for $13.50 but my card got charged over $18. Then I waiting a half an hour, and then was told they gave my sandwich to the wrong person. There was maybe 2 other people in the deli so it was by no means busy and hectic where that kinda mistake could be made. But it happens, I more upset that they stole my money. And the food is alright but there are other delis in the area that have better food and won’t steal from you. Never again.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at Othello's Deli. I ordered a hot plate with salmon, peppers, and sweet potato. Unfortunately, the salmon was overcooked, dry, and had an unpleasant odor. Additionally, the zucchini was burned and inedible.
When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff member at the counter, I was informed that the food is always prepared in this manner and that there was no option for a replacement. This response was both unexpected and unsatisfactory.

The guy who works the morning shift here has zero customer service skills and an insanely nasty attitude. I’ve gone here plenty of times before but he is now the reason I won’t go any longer. I had dealt with him once before where he stared right through me as I asked easy to answer questions and then looked stupefied when I clarified his answers when paying for a simple sandwich. Went in again today and he was yelling for the person who was next but we waited to make sure others had ordered and that we weren’t cutting any lines. When we didn’t move up fast enough for his liking, he kept yelling “Next! Who’s next!” And then he points to another customer and yells, “He ordered already!” I walked up and told him he didn’t need to yell at us and he basically rolled his eyes and didn’t apologize for barking at us like dogs. I proceeded to ask about the breakfast special they’ve had advertised outside for MONTHS and he made this dumbfounded look and he looked from side to side (why he felt he needed to act and play charades, I have no clue) and says, “We don’t have that anymore.” His attitude was utterly disrespectful and now the both of us won’t ever walk in there again. Get better staff because that excuse for a human being at the front counter has to GO!!!

I had the distinct displeasure of visiting what must be the worst deli in existence. I ordered a *basic* tuna melt sandwich—nothing fancy, mind you—just your run-of-the-mill tuna with a side of pickles, a bag of chips, and a bottle of soda. What did I receive for this abomination of an experience? A bill for *$22*. Yes, you read that right: *twenty-two dollars* for what should’ve been a simple, comforting meal.
Let me break down the travesty: the “tuna melt” wasn’t even melted. Imagine my surprise when I opened up the sandwich only to find ice-cold, stale, **day-old tuna** slapped onto a roll like it was an afterthought. No sauce. No spread. No effort. It wasn’t toasted, nor did it carry a trace of warmth. It was a sad, soggy excuse for a sandwich that barely held itself together, and for that, I was charged *$15*.
What did this royal feast include, you ask? Tuna. Lettuce. Tomato. A basic roll. Four ingredients, and *none* of them were fresh. And the "side" of pickles? Barely edible. I would’ve had more satisfaction chewing on cardboard. For a soda and a small bag of chips, they tacked on another $7. You mean to tell me I paid for the privilege of this culinary disaster?
And let’s not overlook the *stellar* service (read: sarcasm). Rude, inattentive, and slower than molasses in January. This deli has mastered the art of making their customers feel like an inconvenience for daring to step through the door. If you’re in the mood to be overcharged, underfed, and disrespected, by all means, give this place a shot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and avoid this catastrophe disguised as a deli.
