This place is absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a beautiful patio that makes the experience even more special. The food is outstanding — I highly recommend the crab and shrimp empanadas, the choripan is delicious, and their cuts of meat are cooked to perfection. Don’t miss the flan casero for dessert, it’s one of the best I’ve had. The service is excellent and the overall vibe of the restaurant is just incredible. Definitely a spot worth visiting again and again!
I had to come back to try the 30-day dry-aged NY Strip… DELICIOUS! I’ll definitely return to taste the other cuts with longer aging times they offer.

All the food here is melt in your mouth and blasting with flavor. So grateful to our friends for taking us here for another friends birthday. The atmosphere is romantic and perfect especially for that late summer night. Got the 16oz dry age steak and empanadas. Both were top tier perfection. The manager was so sweet and nice enough to help us celebrate our friends birthday with flan. The flan was the best flan our entire party has ever had. It was somehow a crème brûlée and pudding all in one. Again. Perfection 10/10. Will definitely be going back multiple times.

We ordered the classic empanada, parrillada, and skirt steak, plus cocktails and mocktails, and every single dish was fantastic. The empanada, in particular, was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy inside – highly, highly recommend! We’ll definitely be back. 😊

My family and I had an incredible dinner at R40 last weekend. The food was outstanding, but what truly set it apart was the exceptional service and beautiful ambience—they treated us like family. It reminded me of the hospitality we’ve come to love at Madera, where we’ve been regulars for 15 years. We can’t wait to return.

We had dinner at R40 last night and had a great time. We walked in without a reservation and we were seated immediately. For our appetizer we had the Blue Crab and Shrimp Empanadas (9/10). We ordered the Chicken Milanese and the NY strip steak as our entrees. The Chicken Milanese (10/10) is a generous portion, I took home half of the entree, and it was delicious. The NY strip was also delicious (8/10). We had both the Sangria and the Bondolero for drinks, I would skip the Sangria and go for a specialty cocktail next time. The atmosphere was fantastic, great lighting, and an open kitchen where you could see the chefs work. The staff was great as well. Our napkins were folded when we went to use the restroom for example. There was a lot of attention to detail. We will be back for sure.
