Stopped in for dinner/drinks after work. Not too busy on a Wednesday on night. The food was decent. Didn’t dislike anything but nothing really stood out. They have a really good selection of sushi and skewers. The staff were very friendly and attentive which I appreciated very much.

Above average Asian fusion spot. Nothing breathtaking, but a solid option for Japanese style food in a very hip spot!If it’s in the cards don’t hesitate to check it out. I think most people will be content with what they find here

It tastes terrible, some are terrible, some are mediocre, and the restaurant is super dark and can't be seen.

I picked up two dishes - Oyako Don and Firecracker sushi roll. Oyaki Don was good, and Firecracker roll was not good. They have a small sports bar at the entrance for refreshments and drinks. They have two floors giving lots of seats. Music is relatively noisy, the only downside.

Had some very tasty japanese food at Sapps in LIC. I was a fan of the apps we ordered: tako wasabi, rock shrimp, miso cod, skewers. The rock shrimp especially was a standout.Alsoo you can never go wrong with the sushi + sashimi platter, just look at those thick cuts of fish ?

I have gave this place too many tries but sorry, just not good, and expensive. Tried different stuff because it’s in the lic neighbor, over priced and nothing really taste good. Go to other Japanese restaurants, this place is below average

Ordered out and paid 14 bucks for burnt, flavorless chicken skewers that I could have made better with frozen chicken, salt, and pepper. My total was $52 dollars for bad food that couldn't even fill one person. If you come here, the only thing mildly worth your time is the sushi.

Great experience for dinner. I ordered the poke bowl and it was good. Not the best I’ve had but still good. It had salmon, tuna and avocado on top. Rice was cooked well. Service was good too! I enjoyed my “drama queen” cocktail - highly recommend for tequila lovers.

Big bowl of tonkatsu ramen, lots of noodles, not too much broth. The pork was charred a bit too much, burnt taste when you first put it in your mouth. Side salad is a large quantity. Double-check the tip calculation as it’s after tax.

A very noisy restaurant + bar serving Japanese food. The food is okay, fairly typical for such restaurants.

We went to Sapps when visiting NYC for a show and we had the best time! It was super convenient to our hotel, the food was delicious, the drinks (including mocktails) were super tasty, the service was superb, and the ambiance was exactly what we needed to kick off our weekend. The sushi was great — my husband especially loved the Firecracker — as was the assortment of appetizers we enjoyed. Thank you Sapps for a lovely evening and a big thank you to your lovely wait staff!
