I was really disappointed by the ramen. Considering ramen is what they’re known for I had to rate mostly based on that. I have to be extremely frank. It was one of the most boring broths I ever had. I ordered the wantan men. It had one monotone note. It tasted like they were trying to be different from traditional broth but it didn’t work. Or it was not made for an Asian palette ?♀️. This is as authentic as you can get in New York, in every way, from the food to the ambiance. Excellent Tokyo style ramen and a variety of other options. Be sure to try the excellent macadamia nut milk coffee, or the matcha lattes.

This is a place where the appetizers are usually better than the noodles and rice bowls. However, the shio nori potatoes have changed, they used to be chopped smaller and fried up crispier, and now they are softer and less crunchy because they come in big wedges. Seems like it is a time saving measure and it does not reflect well on the dish.
