This place is great but has been closed since 2020. I reached out to the halal guys Facebook page and told them about how google says they are open. Hopefully they actually fix it. But just so everyone knows they said they might reopen in the fall 2022. Fingers crossed
I've been going to halal guys on 5th since 2007. Paid for extra chicken and extra beef for an additional $6. Either they forgot to add it or they have started cutting costs. Disappointed to go hungry even after spending $19 on what's nyc street food.

I stopped by the other day for a lamb gyro. The service was good, and I like the location - an old garage/shop converted into a food establishment just off the Queensboro Bridge. The place was almost empty except for a Robocop-looking food delivery guy waiting frantically for his order. What I did NOT like was the food. The pita was undercooked, stale, and bland.
