A very enjoyable experience. Ambiance was amazing, but just be sure to bring your shades during the day. Incredible views on NYC, down to earth and attentive staff. Definitely going back.
Our waitress was Martina! And she was amazing! And the hostesses were very kind. No complaints . Food and drinks were delish! The views were stunning. Would definitely return!
I had a great experience. I took my aunt for the first time and we will definitely be coming back. The service and everything was great 10/10 highly recommended
When I first got off the elevator, it was incredible—the view was absolutely amazing. The deck itself is beautiful and definitely the highlight of the experience. However, the buffet was honestly terrible. The food was very disappointing, and the drink I ordered was so bad I actually had to send it back. Our server only visited our table once the entire time, which added to the overall frustration. I'm not sure what I expected, but I can confidently say the value just wasn't there. I paid $90 per person, and in my opinion, it was absolutely not worth it. The audio setup was also uneven—one side of the space was much louder than the other, which made the vibe feel off. A DJ would've probably created a much better energy than what they had going. The only thing I truly appreciated was the incredible deck and the view. Everything else felt like a waste of money.
it was a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with a lot of wonderful workers who was very kind and helpful celebrating. Really worth going there. 🤘🏼🎸🥂
Customer service was exceptional , amazing views of New York City . Waitress Zuleyka was amazing with service
We had a wonderful experience celebrating our graduation here. The owner was incredibly welcoming and understanding, setting a great tone for the evening. The staff—especially our server, Katerina—were relaxed, attentive, and so much fun to be around. We also noticed a couple nearby celebrating their anniversary, which shows this place is perfect for any occasion. The view was absolutely stunning! For the best experience, ask for front seating to enjoy the scenery, or opt for the back if you're looking for a cozy, quiet spot. Highly recommend!
So we walked into Vista Sky Lounge expecting Emily in Paris… and got Survivor: Rooftop Edition.
We made a reservation a week in advance. A whole 7 days. You’d think they’d roll out the (rooftop) red carpet, right? Nope. We walked in, said, “Hi! We have a reservation!” and they looked at us like we had just asked to host a magic show on the roof. Total confusion. Like the idea that someone would actually show up for a reservation was shocking to them. Groundbreaking.
The pictures online had us thinking we were about to be clinking glasses under the stars with a skyline behind us. We showed up at 6pm, dressed cute, feeling romantic… and they said, “You can sit outside at 7.” I’m sorry, is the view on a lunch break?
To hold us over, they tried to seat us at a coffee table outside. A literal coffee table. Like we were about to play Jenga, not eat food. I didn’t know I’d need to stretch before dinner. I was one crouch away from pulling a hamstring.
Still determined to have a good time, we got chips and guac. Big mistake. The guac tasted like it had been left unsupervised. No seasoning. No vibe. Just… avocado in crisis. It was like someone had mashed it with a calculator. Even the chips were like, “We don’t know her.”
Then we got drinks. $18. Each. One sip in and I was like… is this juice? Is this vinegar? Is this a social experiment? It tasted like someone dropped a lime in a glass of confusion and charged me rent for it.
And THEN. We ask for the check, and suddenly the waitress turned into a moody film student. She wasn’t rude exactly, just… deeply over our existence. Like she sensed we weren’t going to order the $49 salmon and took it personally.
The check came out to $50 for guac, two “drinks,” and an existential crisis.
Final thoughts: if you enjoy mystery flavors, Olympic squatting, and paying premium prices to feel like you’re sitting at IKEA during a blackout — Vista’s got you. Otherwise, save yourself. Buy chips, make guac, stand on a chair, and look out your window. You’ll get the same vibe for $4.

Server was apparently new or still training as she seem unsure to fulfill a simple request as 'panchetta on the side and shot down a couple other requests with a 'No' without even checking with the Kitchen.Lamb was tasty despite being well done as opposed to medium temp requested.Bruno the bartender made great cocktails and pleasant demeanor .The other dishes were mediocre at best. The view and company made up for the average cusine and service. Won't be back and definitely not recommending this spot except for drinks and great background for pictures!
Beautiful place!!! Service needs improvement for sure. It took 40 min to get a drink and many times things ordered and had to wait forever.
Cups were dirty Food came up cold Waitress had a attitude It' was all bad and it was Mother's Day Terrible experience
Manager tried to seat us inside saying Outdoor seating is limited 2 to 4 people. The kitchen was 'backed up' we waited over 90 minutes for the entrees although the drinks were served quickly.
It was nice, but the place was small and hot inside near the window. It was even hotter outside without an umbrella to shield you from the sun. The area was okay.
