Nope, not for me. Found hair in my noodles
Food: 1
Very simple place with some stools and a counter but if you live in the neighborhood just take it to go. I can’t confirm they always do this but when I ordered the guy in the back stated slapping some noodles and made my meals to order. The noodles were nice and chewy, the sauce was spicy with a bit of good depth (not overly complex but also not too simple). There was just the right amount of pork meat that was tender enough to break into strips to make eating a little less messy. One of the best things is my dish was 13 bucks. Which is a nice price for a good meal. They are also a chain with one in mid town Manhattan that I’ve been to and the lamb cumin noodles were also great. Hard to go wrong with fresh pulled noodles that is kind to your wallet.

A dependable, high-quality, and delectable! XFF is my favorite Chinese restaurant chain in the entire city. Their lamb is always well seasoned and noodles are always just chewy enough. One thing I’ve noticed over the past 3 years, however, is that the “extra spicy” is no longer “extra spicy.” I feel that they have somewhat downgraded on how truly spicy the “extra spicy” is, which is a bummer. But still, it tastes amazing. I wish they’d bring an “extra extra spicy” version now, though, haha.

great flavor. reasonable prices. terrible spoon to have soup with. also, playing music at same time video of founder is explaining (sound on) how the noodles are made is cacophonous.

Xi’an Famous Foods is a go-to spot for Chinese cuisine, satisfying cravings and leaving flavorful memories. Their menu has a good balance of spice levels, making it easy for customers with different spice tolerances to find something to enjoy. Their best seller N1, the Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles, really astonished me. As someone that has low spice tolerance, their perfect mix of chili oil, chili seeds, and lamb had me ordering regular spice every time. Their N8, Spicy Hot Oil Seared Hand-Ripped Noodles, is definitely worthy of the front cover of their very own cookbook. Their burgers are also very tasty, giving a totally new experience from burgers in Western cuisine. I recommend the B1, Stewed Pork Burger, where it’s not spicy compared to the B2, Spicy Cumin Lamb Burger. The juiciness of the stewed pork in addition to the crunchy bun is a perfect combination. They also have a variety of home-made drinks, and their new sodas are definitely worth a try. If you’re nearby, make sure to check it out!

Dumplings are great! Except when they tell you they are just a few shy of a full order and will have to make more, which will take another 15 minutes. Seating is as expected for a building like it is (row of seats around the perimeter and a couple tables between. I always feel like I'm waiting in a dirty water hotdog cart while waiting for my food at this place.

Liang pi is alway on point!! I love coming back to xi’ans everytime I visit the states.
I got this to go and I was impressed how far this chain has come. Back in the day, they had the sauces in homemade plastic baggies and now they have it all officially packaged!!
The liang pi is still delicious- bouncy noodles and the sauce is epic. I’m glad the quality of the food hasn’t gone down since the OG location in flushing.

I don’t know why my comment and review disappeared. A long hair in my spicy lamb cumin is not acceptable and it is disgusting. I am order no.43 of July 9th. Please make sure your staff is following food safety procedures and wearing a hat all the time.🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢
