*barely any meat. *noodles mostly.. Left hungry >> I used to like their food quite a bit. But it's just hard to figure out the consistency of their products. It's quite variable depending on the day and who is serving it. And it's getting worse..Sometimes their food has a good amount of meat and vege to go along with the noodles. But more recently, the proportion is way off. It's usually a TON of noodles these days, with barely any meat and vege. Maybe it's inflation? I have to go on a fishing expedition to find meat. What's the point of eating a lamb noodle soup with 97% noodles (just kind of funny).. I can't deal with so much carb/noodles in my diet.I wish they can tell you how much protein you get before you order.I don't think I will come here for a while again. Hopefully, they can do better. Maybe they are giving up?

This was a pickup ordering and my first time trying XI'AN Famous, and it was very easy to pick up my food by showing my online order at the counter.The food was freaking amazing, and warning ⚠️If you get extra spicy, it will be extremely spicy (the way I'd like it sometime)My order was the A5 Spicy Setian Salad and the F1 Chandran spicy tofu CustardGood for vegans and recommend my ThePandaPhotographer

I always get the N1 regular spicy, but today it tastes different. Maybe there is a change in peppers from a jalapeno or change in the spices. I hope this change is not permanent.

Really like the casual atmosphere where you can just grab your food and sit, enjoy, clean up and leave.Their vegetarian dumplings were so good. That sauce is highly addictive. All vegetarian options I had this day were delicious. The location has a friendly staff and it was a nice place to stop by after hanging out at PS 1.

I have eaten at Xian a few times now and it breaks my heart to say this, but the most recent visit gave me horrible food poisoning. I ordered my standard lamb noodles and cucumbers. My hypothesis is something in the cucumbers is not sitting right with me as my partner got the lamb noodles too.Despite the pain, I would probably try again (once I’ve healed) as their food is truly delicious and one of my favorite things to eat when visiting NYC. Perhaps I’ll stick to the cooked items moving forward.

You guys seriously??! I’m super disappointed and even upset. This is like a joke or insult to me. I only had two pork bun / burgers to-go. I should have checked it at the store but I trusted them. And when I got home, the burger tasted only fat so I thought it’s just the part I had… half finished, dry and ONLy fat. So I opened it and turned out it’s all fat without a single piece of lean meat in my pork bun. I have been to this place many times and it’s always a hit or miss. Tbh this isn’t even honest behavior. I went there at late lunch time before dinner time ( 5 pm ish. ) if the pork is sold out, you should tell me so I can order something else instead of doing this. I want to support you guys but this is not acceptable.

It’s a nice little restaurant.The food was good and they have a good selection to choose from.For me the food was too spicy and don’t like spicy food at all…I never eat spicy so yeah. And even the lowest spice level was too much for me. But if you like it, then those noodles are something for you.
