“Delicious home cooked meal“

“Just wanted to get on here and post.. we came up from PA snowmobiling and during our route that we found out by stopping at Pond Effects was shut off by pissed of land owners. We had no choice but to turn around and go the exact way we came (conditions weren’t great and it was about 80 miles)… as we sat and had great food and a few beverages, the owners kids came in. She made a point to her daughter that we were some what “screwed” and we were staying in Turin NY roughly 20 minutes away via vehicle. Her daughter went out of her way to take us back to the lodge to get our trailer and load the sleds at her business! All I can say is great people, great food, cold beer and I hope they can find a 3 mile connector to this bar because it would be a great place for snowmobilers to stop!!“

“Don't believe any of the idiots leaving bad reviews. This is a great, back country, Tug Hill bar. We rented a sled for the day and had breakfast there before we left. Friendly, helpful folks. They were all very kind and helpful. Dogs were adorable! Love that they roam the property and inn. We will be back!“

“First trip to the Tug Hill area with our ATV’s. Not sure where to go so stopped in and met Brittany. She was awesome and pointed us in the right direction and had a great lunch before heading out on our first ride. The next day we met the owner, Steve and his beautiful golden retriever. After the days ride we had prime rib! This is a can’t miss stop whether you are riding the trails or driving through the area.“

“Is it fancy? No, but that's what I like about this place. The food is good and reasonably priced, the drinks are reasonably priced. You feel no pressure at all to dress up. The atmosphere is friendly. Service tends to be a bit slower than in a typical restaurant but again, it's not fancy. It is clean and it is reasonably priced, try the specials here, they're great! They have awesome chicken wings!“
