We went for the Easter buffet. Unfortunately it was very skimpy and the food was low quality and tasteless especially at $30 per person. The service was ok but they also include the gratuity in the bill which now brings it to almost $40 per person so the server is getting a large tip regardless of good service. I was completely disappointed. The regular menu looks good but after this experience I probably would not chance a second visit.

Upon entering this restaurante I wasn't exactly sure if everything was going to meet my expectations. A restaurant in the middle of nowhere and not that big. Wow, was I absolutely shocked. I was knocked into another fricken realm. Let me say that this food makes it feel like you just went to heaven, discovered a new universe, and entered an eternal wave of the strongest euphoria you could ever imagine. All of the food is great. I've never had regular wings taste like melted gold and be so good and juicy. Even the fries were absolutely amazing. I ordered the pork, and my family kept wanting to talk to me, but I couldn't even begin to formulate words because the food was hitting me so hard. 10/10 would love to live permanently at the River Valley Inn for the food, service, and atmosphere. If you're thinking about stopping in, cancel your plans and stop in asap.

We were in the area and stopped in for dinner. Everything was incredible. Every dish was seasoned perfectly. One of the best dinners we have had out in a while. Definately make the trip! It is well worth it!

The nicest most accommodating bar tender (maybe owner) i’ve ever met. We came in soaking wet after getting caught in a rain storm on our SXS and she put our clothes in the dryer for us. She went out of her way to help us and enabled us to enjoy the test of our day. Highly recommend!

Stopped for dinner. Unassuming decor, very clean, great service, and yummy food. Extensive menu - something for everyone. Reasonable prices, all meals cooked perfectly - good taste/presentation. Will return.

An excellent choice for dinner! Darcy, our server was great ? She was always there to help us with whatever we needed. Service and meal was extremely prompt. We were very satisfied with the quality and potions. Price reflects appetizers, drinks, entrée, and dessert. I would highly recommend that you check out this gem. It feels like the family that runs this establishment really loves what they do and not the almighty dollar. The menu sections were vast. I've seen most places not have half the selections as here. Amazing, check it out!

I had the smothered steak and my wife had the chicken parm. Both were excellent! In addition, we had the fried calamari for an appetizer. All was delicious and perfectly cooked. It's nice to go someplace where the chef has a vision and some original ideas. Hats off to chef Andrew! Service was excellent also. Thank you.

Passing by the River Valley Inn you would expect a beer and a burger joint but the menu is varied and unusual with great food and nice presentation. From Athenian Linguine to Crab Encrusted Yellowtail Grouper to Asian Osso Buco to the Friday Night Fish Fry everything we have ever tried was excellent. Of course soups, sandwiches, salads, and burgers are available as well. Have never been disappointed.

Food was so good! I’m from Indiana and was just visiting for the week, but I would love somewhere like this near me. I was so surprised at how good everything was, I was expecting a small diner-feel to the food but it was plated and served beautifully! I’m surprise this isn’t a bigger place with food this good
