We hadn’t had good experiences with not enough cheese on the pizza and hard bread with our subs, the last couple of times but decided to give them another chance. Something has definitely changed. Tonight we actually ordered to eat in. It was taking too long for our food, so the husband went to check. The kid said, oh it just came out. Really, because my fries were no where near hot or even luke warm and my chicken fingers were burnt but not hot. Three strikes….

We ordered last night and I have to say we were all a bit disappointed. The “Chef Salad” there should be called a Garden Salad- it’s just vegetables (the paper menu we looked at does not say what’s in it if you go anywhere else there is meat, egg etc) We also ordered a calzone and wings, usually they are amazing! This trip the calzone was half full and only the middle had filling, both sides had nothing in it. Chicken wings well….. there were none we had the drums. The young lady I spoke with just about the salad just said “well that’s how we make them here” offering no resolution and honestly was a bit rude- but knowing they were busy. Yes, they do rectify incorrect orders you aren’t happy with but usually it’s one thing not the whole order :(

Ordered a pizza thin crust. Have ordered thin before with no problem. Recently noticed quality getting worse. Ordered tonight and half was so soggy that to take a piece the crust stayed behind in the center and toppings totally piled off of it. Calling them up the manager said “That happens with thin crust”. Well it wasn’t even cooked and the grease turned section of pizza into a sloppy mess.

I just received a large thin crust little Italy pizza. It came super soggy. I never reach out to an establishment but this was an extreme case. I called and spoke to the manager. She said….” Yeah, that happens with the thin crust.” No apology, no compensation. Not good customer service.

Our first experience at this restaurant was amazing — generous toppings on the pizza, and perfectly cooked. That’s why we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, our second visit was a letdown. The pizza lacked the same care: the toppings were sparse and uneven, making it feel rushed or poorly prepared. The boneless wings were shockingly small — about the size of a quarter — and didn’t resemble the quality we experienced before. It’s disappointing to see such inconsistency. We really wanted to make this a regular spot, but after this visit, we’re not so sure. Consistency matters.

Finally decided to try Mac’s pizzeria solely based on their good reviews. Ordered a medium pizza and wings. Total was almost $50. I thought very pricey but if the food was that good, it may be worth it. The pizza was good, not exceptional. The wings were supposed to be garlic Parmesan, but had no flavor other than just deep-fried. I don’t think I will be going back because I can get a average pizza and wings for half the price anywhere else
Finally tried this recommended spot for lunch today and it was really good. I behaved and got a little side salad and immediately regretted it! We watched people coming in for lunch and enjoying those hot slices of many varieties and I wished I had done THAT!
My son got the chicken finger meal and WOW at those huge tenders and nice white meat, and the fries are those battery kind that are perfect! 😍 Generous portions, too.
The girl up front was friendly and the guy in the back making pizzas seemed to know everyone who came in and chatted it up.
My salad was perfect for what I regrettably wanted, but we’ll be back and I’m definitely getting pizza next time!
