You're better off going across the border to Prescott to get cakes and baked goods. Half Dozen is good, but their hours are extremely restrictive and I've often come by within their hours to find a sign saying they've gone home early for the day. It's a shame, as I really prefer to support locally, but there are more reliable places which are just as good. It's not worth the long drive there if there's no guarantee they're even open.

Found this wonderful place while driving through this week and I love it! Half Dozen Bakery has a scrumptious selection of baked goods and great coffee with friendly service. It is perfectly decorated and is now my go to coffee shop/bakery.
