Char Steakhouse and Bar

The server Michael was terrific. Very attentive took all the time to answer questions. The food portions were generous and the food was tasty. Glad we tried out Char and would consider returning.

Mike was our server and was very friendly and came back several times to see if we needed anything.

The help was very accommodating as they honored our request for outside and then worked to fix the umbrellas to give us shade. The service was pretty slow, but I appreciate that all the orders came out at once so we could all eat together. The food was fine, nothing special. Two of us had frittatas, which were very overdone. Not quite burnt but very brown along with the toast that was very overdone but not burnt. The other dishes, French toast and chicken Caesar salad, were fine, just nothing special. I think we were all somewhat disappointed in the food. The wait staff was very nice just wish the food was better.

Nikki was a great server, very helpful and accommodating! The food was delicious and plentiful.

Aside from the forgotten steak sauces, our experience was great! The waiter was attentive and accurate with an awesome personality! The steaks were cooked to our request. The Chianti was also a perfect accompaniment to the meal! The room was a bit loud but that's likely normal due to the space and the crowd they get for meal times. Overall, we'd go back again to try something new!

We were able to sit outside and it was a beautiful summer night. Michael our server was excellent and engaging. The food was great as it always is.

Service as excellent our waitress was friendly and attentive. We have been to this restaurant several times and it is always a hit or miss with appetizers and sides. I always get the filet which has been good. However the quality of the meals is always inconsistent.

What a great steakhouse! Food is always fantastic and the staff makes it feel like home. Mike our server was so friendly and helpful. He made my grandmothers birthday a special experience. Just when you think it can't get any better the owner is always around and is a joy to talk to. He supports his staff and you can tell that he wants the guest and employees to be happy. Char is always our go to. Over 10 years of dining here and the experience is always great.

Food was excellent, cooked to perfection, staff was friendly, efficient and very capable. We were extremely satisfied throughout the evening.

Know as a steakhouse, we unfortunately ordered seafood dishes that were disappointing. Apps were great but stuffed shrimp and shrimp and scallops were a little disappointing.

We went at an off time of the day (4:45pm) and there was no one else there so it was quite. Food and service is always great!

It had been a few years since we had dinner at the Char Steakhouse. Overall was a great experience, food was excellent - well prepared and even though they could work a little more on the presentation, you kind of forget that when you taste it LOL.. really good! Staff was attentive and obsequious, they were busy, which was expected since it was Mother's Day. The set-menu was good and had good variety. The atmosphere was pleasant; however, they may need some upgrades on the overall look, looks a bit shabby - but if that's what they were going for, then they nailed it! .. Again, totally worth the visit, we'll definitely go back.
