The food was really good. I recommend the chicken rice and beans with sweet plantain. I had some tostones on the side with the pineapple water juice. Service was good and the food came out fast.

Ordered a chicken empanada, got a weird type of empanada that I don’t even think it was an empanada, ask them for the price before hand which they ignored me and then proceeded to charge me $4.50 for a single empanada, this place sucks.

Delicious food!!!!
We ordered takeout from La Hueca in Mahopac for the first time, and it was a fantastic find! The bandeja paisa and plantains with cheese were both delicious, and the meal came with a fresh salad and dressing on the side. The chicharrones and chorizo were especially tasty—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I was really craving good Spanish food, and this absolutely hit the spot. The prices are very reasonable, and I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!
Ordered through their online service. Arrive a little after the time it said my order should be ready…my order wasn’t even started. Said give them 5 minutes, waited almost 25 minutes…the lady didn’t really speak English and the only person that did was more concerned with eating and the birthday party she was throwing than actual customers. I ordered 2 orders of Chicharon only received but I was way too tired to go back and for with the lady who barely spoke English. Needless to say I’ll never go back again.
I just moved to Mahopac and I am from Ecuador so I was so pleasantly surprised to find this gem in this corner of Putnam. The staff are friendly and the encebollado was delicious. Special soups are only served on the weekends- so if you are down for the encebollado, come on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Will be coming back for more!
This place was really good- great food and service. They catered to every need. I highly recommend to this place!

I almost never write reviews. Keep in mind, I’m Ecuadorian and am a little biased when it comes to this restaurant. I’ve been to so many Ecuadorian restaurants throughout my whole life, but this place was something else. I traveled 40 minutes to try this place. I was amazed. Customer service was superb. Food was spectacular. The employees really want to make sure you have a wonderful experience here.

Food very bad!! , I indicated the food was bad didnt even eat the encebollado and I was charged for it, the bolon cold really cold in the inside. Will never go back there. The only good thing was the waitress. That's it!!

The waitress was really nice and the food was decent. I am rating this one star because the ceviche my dad ordered was not tasteful to him, he took 3 spoonfuls trying to eat it but he did not like it. He told the waitress he did not like it and she told the owner however she still charged him for the ceviche and I don’t think that was right. If you order something and don’t like it that you cant eat it then i don’t think you should be charged for it, take it off the bill as a curtesy.
