“Oh my goodness! Where to begin! The food is so amazing, with a new daily special every day! I have been eating there nearly every day they’re open for the past 3 years. And I have yet to find something that doesn’t taste good. Easily the best place in Malone to go to. I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. And don’t get me started on the staff, The waitress and waiter are just so amazing and nice, very friendly as well! It’s definitely a family based environment!”

“I have been coming here ever since they opened, which has been probably 40 years. I was a small child and loved the food then and love it just as much now. The quality is always excellent and I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff. I know some people wish a standard sub had more meet but I have always found it to be more than adequate as I never leave hungry or wanting. Jreck subs is a local chain of restaurants with the taste a quality is pretty much the same at each one.”

“For Malone it's a good buffet style Chinese restaurant. It's a little expensive, there is some variety on the buffet unfortunately some of the basic items like white rice or shrimp sushi are not. The Wasabi is an unusual color. The staff acts like they are rushing you to finish. Taking out buffet is really expensive and you are only allowed 1 container.”

“The sub ingredients are always fresh and good tasting. My only complaint is the location. Sometimes I just want a sub and don't want to visit a superstore to get it. Nothing against Walmart. But the staff are always polite and eager to get it right for you.”

“Great OLD SCHOOL bar! Been there for years, could be time travel! Food is typical bar fare, wings, pizza or Michigans! Eleanore, Kathy and Todd were right on their game! Pool tables, neon, darts and jute box fill out the atmosphere! Out door seating.

“My wife and I just went and tried the new cheeseburger pizza tonight. Let me tell you, this pizza was beyond amazing. Not only the best cheeseburger pizza I’ve had, but also the best pizza I’ve had. Also kudos to the staff who were amazing and super friendly!!”

“I typically love dairy Queen and used to like this one quite a bit, however, as of late the ice cream has been extremely runny!
This has been happening for several months if not longer. I mentioned it to staff on one occasion and the manager told me that it is because they have one ice cream machine and if it's busy the machine can't keep up with the demand. She did mention that they are looking to get another machine up and running for summer, but as of today (7/11/25) that clearly hasn't happened.
When the kid working here flipped my blizzard, the thing nearly fell on the ground, And he had to turn it right side up immediately as it dripped all over the floor. (see pic 3)

And tell this situation is fixed, I would highly recommend going to one of the local ice cream stands around town, as their blizzards are closer to a milkshake than actual solid ice cream!

***UPDATE 10/2/25***
Well, we finally went back after our less than stellar experience a couple months ago, and I was thrilled to find out that the blizzard that I got (a small Oreo/ Reese's limited edition) was exactly as I'd hoped for!
It is no longer a melted mess like it was the majority of the time during the summer.

“Food always great! Go 2-5 x a week for breakfast but went this morning we were only 2 in the large dining room but waited 10 minutes for waitress then after finally getting served waited with waitress nowhere to be found for coffee refill. Went home and made a pot of coffee!”
